I've only ever played Starcraft for RTS's, and I have tops for every race. I love how the hydralisk sounds (I want a tiny one for a pet) but I like the queen simply for the spawn broodling ability.
For terrans it's a tie between how smooth the wraith sounds and the singing Siege Tank. But man those Goliaths are cool.
The Protoss definitely win with the Dark Archon. ~must FEEEED~ Stole your unit, nyah nyah!
However my favorite hero of all time was and remains, mighty Tassadar. RIP Tassadar. <3

It's hard... so hard to choose ~~

DoW probably has the best voice acting I've ever heard in an RTS, especially the Orkz. The Armored Nobz get a good placement for their "Sounds stupid, but... okay". *sigh*, it really needs to voice to be funny : (

I usually try to play the weakest race in any given game, and when people told me Fortress sucks in HOMM3 of course I had to play as them. My Mighty Gorgons kills all of their stupid dragons with death stare : P

For wc3, my favorite game ever so far, the unit is the Frost Wyrm. No other singular unit can stop an enemy force dead in their tracks like it can ;)

Chrono Legionnaires from Red Alert 2 were awesome. It was just annoying having to deal with the amount of time it took to recover after teleporting.

Gandalf from the Battle for Middle-Earth games. Probably the most overpowered hero unit I have ever seen in a game.

Archmages from WC3. One of three heroes with 4 useful powers (the others being Paladin and Keeper of the Grove). Also, Frost Wyrms were awesome, if a little unreasonable.

Ghosts and Dark Templars from StarCraft.

And a big shout-out to Paratroopers and Rangers from Company of Heroes. Ridiculous what I could accomplish with just 3 or 4 squads of them.

Harpy Hags from Heroes of Might and Magic III. Very annoying to be fight against, but when you have a huge stack of them on your side, happiness ensues.

The Awakened Monolith from Dark Crusade.
God yes. But I also love all the Space Marines :( I find myself declaring "FOR THE EMPEROR" along with them.

Oh, and the Vindicare Assassin. Man, those guys are hardcore.

And the Orks, man, I don't think I've laughed as much as when I hear them.

Let's see...

For Starcraft, I'm a huge fan of the Zerglings. Even in the late game, very few defenses are set up to deal with an actual 150 Zergling swarm. Killed them all? No problem! I'll have more coming right up! Get a good mass production going on, and you can make them and send them to battle faster then they can kill them.

For C&C: Generals, it would have to be... Lotus... something? I can't remember. The Chinese special unit. If only for functionality of being able to steal money, shut down buildings, and take over buildings faster then anyone else. Of course, the suicide bombers get runner up, what with all their quips, especially in vehicles. "Special Delivery?"

And for Dawn of War, the Monolith is my personal favorite, what with the slow hovering 'look it's the death star kinda' style, able to drop out units constantly. But for over all class, the Orcs (any and all) get 'Best In Show'. Not because I win with them, but because they crack me the hell up. "Uh, Boss? We'ze gettin' shot up!"

Black...

I do like the Baneblade too. Tanks are somewhat disenfranchised. Sure, a mecha (if we ever build one) might be more mobile, but it will cost like 20 times more than a tank : P I usually hate the term, but in this case it fits: don't fix what isn't broken. Being able to dodge a rocked isn't going to do you any good when there are 20 of them coming from different directions ~~

My favourite units have to be the Mayan Archers from AoEII expansion, the aurora bombers + pathfinders from CnC Generals there is nothing better then being able to take out a power supply in one hit and a whole chinese infantry general, the razor swarms from CNC3 and finally it has to be the Space marines and possessed... jeez i had a 4 hour battle once where the constant supply of Marines and Possessed squads into the middle made it so hard to advance :)

Good times...

Hard to pick, but I'd say the Elven archers from Warcraft 3, they're fast, gracious, and make funny comments. "Fear my leet skills!" :D

I used to love the Tiberian Sun Cyborg Commando.

DoW though, phew, the units just rock. They all sound fantastic, but unfortunately, the voice acting is let down by the diabolical narrator in Dark Crusade, and potentially, Soulstorm. Anyway, tough choice for me, as a Space Marine user.

Dreadnoughts? Sound as awesome as they fight, just like the Terminators who have perhaps the best attack sound in the game: "*deep robotic chuckle* They do not have a prayer!" No they feckin dont! And the Grey Knights, I cant recall but I think they are completely unaffected by morale. They just keep fighting no matter the odds. Plus they whup bloodthirsters and daemon princes. I cant decide between Terminators or Grey Knights?

The Novax (think thats its name) Satellite Control system + satellite in Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. Orbital laser satellite that can't be shot down. It goes down if its control centre is destroyed, so just defend that with a few fatboys, flak cannons, sam launchers and a bunch of support commanders with their 50k shields around em and you can go harrass the enemy as much as you want.

Combine multiple satellites for the ultimate, unbeatable offensive team.

Red Alert 2:
So.... Many... Rocketeers! And a spy!
Works so well; send a spy into the enemy's base and down their power, then destroy their powerplants and construction yard with Swarms of Rocketeers. :D
They can't stop it... MuwahahahHAHAHAHAA!
