The C&C: Red Alert 3 theme was pretty cool.

DooM 3's Theme. Incredibly metal and still manages to fit into the game.

Now I know there are hundreds of "your favorite video game" forums cycling around but I want to know your favorite Theme songs of all time from said games. Your #1 or maybe top three will do and tell us why.

For me it has to be Legend of Zelda main theme for the shear fact it gets stuck in my head more often then any other song.

I am the same way, i am always whistling that song at work, I caught someone whistling it the other day too.

Come now, the title goes to the Megaman series. All the oldschool chiptunes where innovative and amazingly catchy, but none more than Megaman 3.

Especially the Protoman riff; Haunting, Jazzy, and when you heard it playing for the first time, you knew something badass was about to happen.

Going specifically by actual game THEME songs, FF6. Nothing I have ever heard in videos games has topped this opening theme with it's level of scope and sheer feeling of awe and adventure. Sure there are some great grandiose pieces out there that are epic and all, but this just tells a story in of itself. It's one of the few songs that got me into feeling that I was diving into something truly epic.
