Haha! My mistake! I can admit I never got into Mechwarrior until, like, Mechwarrior 2 so I'm sure there is much Battletech canon I'm unaware of.Khell_Sennet post=9.73055.784227 said:BAH! No dude, no no no no no!!!!
It's called Timber Wolf. MadCat is the Inner Sphere codename for it, but the real clan names are the true names (sorry if it seems anal, but a 15+ year Battletech Junkie is bound to have a few quirks no?). MadCat, storywise, became its codename because the IFF/Vehicle Recognition software couldn't pinpoint the new unknown design when it was first spotted, and kept switching between Maurader (ID Sign MAD-3R) and Catapult...
The Timber Wolf is a great pick though. One of the three most versatile Clan Mechs of the initial invasion, and undeniably one of the most imposing looks in the game.
Clanwise, my pick goes to the Warhawk as my favorite Clan design (Nova a close second, Timberwolf third), and the Warhammer as my favorite IS design (Marauder second, Centurion third).
Oh gods yes! The amount of times I took out a tank with a single jeep, a kamakaze driver and a few detpacks in the back are too numerous to count. Also, hooning around the map in a jeep = much fun... until you drive off a cliff... (which has happened on too many occasionsKukul post=9.73055.782325 said:a plain old buggy in the first battlefield

You can fly Goliath Gunships in Call of Duty? I think I'm going to have to reconsider my opinions...zachatree post=9.73055.782749 said:AC-130 gunship from COD 4
You don't fly them so much as man all of the gun turrets to give cover to your squad on the ground.Anarchemitis post=9.73055.784769 said:You can fly Goliath Gunships in Call of Duty? I think I'm going to have to reconsider my opinions...zachatree post=9.73055.782749 said:AC-130 gunship from COD 4

Thanks so much for reminding me of this! It's a little slower than the jedi starfighter and it had no missisles, but it's lasers were great!Anarchemitis post=9.73055.782144 said:The Droid starfighter of Star Wars Battlefront.
Really? I wasn't too fond of it. Driving the airboat, however, especially once you got the blaster fitted to it, was the most fun I've had without the Womble costume on. I found swatting Combine soldiers with a container using the dockyard crane to be rather fun too.KendayTheAbsolute post=9.73055.784798 said:car from HL2
Sorry if you thought I was accusing you of being an annoying little kid, but I wasn't implying that everyone who plays Halo is an annoying little kid. When I say annoying little kids, I mean the annoying little kids. Literally. And if you play Halo you have to admit they're there. But seeing how your profile claims you're only a year younger than me, I doubt you are one. But you know how things get with that game...Spartan Bannana post=9.73055.782608 said:Seriously, don't stereotype me, I'm getting tired of saying this.ElephantGuts post=9.73055.782446 said:I probably have to say the Warthog, ruined as the Halo series has become in my mind thanks to all those annoying little kids, the warthot has earned its recognition as the amazingly fun and cool vehicle it is. Besides that, I think I'll say the golf cart in Battlefield: Bad Company. That was fun. Also, the Apache in the same game. Apaches are fun. Also Super Cobras in Battlefield 2.
My favorite car is probably the Devastator in Mercs 2, that thing was hilarious.
