How many times I saw this specific Thread. The classic thread "Your Favorite Videogame Character".
Truth to be told, I didn't mind so much, but others hate these threads.

However, I decided to create a similar thread but with a twist:

Who is your favorite character that NEVER had been voiced by an actor or NEVER had a 2D or 3D animation?

Very interesting, isn't it? The most threads I read the most users select the characters that have voice actors and characters that are fully animated.

Of course having these things are major qualities to give unique personalities to your characters. But what if selected character that don't have them?

For me I have some characters I really like, but I will say those two for now:

Falsen and Gazer from the game "Dark Scavenger"

These are you buddies you have to your Epic journey in the game. They don't know to fight as well as you, but for that reason they can help you by crafting weird/obscure items/weapons and summons monsters and demons to support you.

The only thing you need to admit these wacky characters have awesome personalities, is to just read the comments they have to say for every item you bring to them.
[I played this game THREE times to have a complete picture of their profile].

Awesome game! Awesome cast! Unique/Obscure gameplay!!!

So, who are your favourite characters?

That really is an insanely hard question in a lot of modern-day games... Er, that bloke on the cover of Medieval II: Total War? Fifth orc from the left? That doctor on the cover of Theme Hospital if you don't count the intro cinematic- wait, no, that was a different doctor in the intro cinematic. That doctor on the cover of Theme Hospital who used to pop up in the corner to relay information in a text bubble!

I hate Theme Hospital advisor's smug face.

They come to MY hospital, vomit on MY floors and then claim to be annoyed at the way I run the hospital? Ingrates!

They are your floors in your hospital, so clearly anything on them is your full responsibility in every way!

Hey, weren't there a lot of carpet floors in some of those hospitals? Eww...

Sylph from Monmusu Quest! was such a helpful and cute little fairy.

I also liked the main cast of Tsukihime, specifically Hisui and Kohaku.

It's this guy: @

You know he has to be one tough little dude (or she's a tough little dudette, depending on the game) to star in all those ASCII roguelikes. There are few things quite as moving as getting down to the final dungeon, beating the boss, and dying on the way back out.

The Grue.

Even though we never got to see much of each other, I knew deep down we were friends.

Silent Protagonist: The Warden in Dragon Age.
This character is whoever you want said character to be. You customize their appearance, their personality, their race and in turn the story depending on your play through.

Non-Animated Character: ZORK
What is Zork? Zork is just the sort of Dungeon Master narrator guy who describes an invisible world to you. Zork guides me through dungeons, trees and describes eggs so beautifully.

Gordon Freeman?
You best edit that post soon with a few more words before the mods block it and give you a warning. Just a heads up.

Umm...Megaman? The old school one (Although I do like Megaman Volnutt/Trigger).

Oh, wait! My favorite one is all the characters from little Samson for the NES! Yeah, that sounds about right.

The KID from the Bastion. There are three voice actors and four characters you do the math.

TEAM ROCKET BLAST OFF AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!

(They count due to not having voices and no sprite animations.) Alternatively for better music:

Favorite VG character that isn't voiced nor animated? Hard to say, really.

Part of me wants to default to Gordon Freeman, being one of the quintessential examples. Another part of me want's to say almost any character from the old text-based DOS adventure games from the by-gone era of gaming. (like Zork) And, yet another part wants to say one of the classic 90's characters like the Doom Guy.

Yeah, tough call. I'll have to think on it.

Until he eats you.

My first thought was Gordon as well but do his arms count as being "animated"?
Not unless you count disembodied limbs as a "person".

...Well that's a pretty impossible question.

Also, to those who are choosing Gordon Freeman; YOU'RE WRONG!!! Gordon Freeman was animated in the opening scenes of the Half-Life expansion Blue Shift, thereby making him an animated, if still silent, character.

Ummm .... Was Carmen Sandiego, herself, ever voiced or animated? There was a generic 'bad guy' animation when they ran away from the police and when they gripped the bars in jail, and as far as I know that was the only times you saw someone alledged to be 'Carmen Sandiego' animated.

Oooh I know! Any of the members of my dynasty in Crusader Kings II. No animation, no voices. Plenty of illegitimate bastards, backstabbing, murder, and hedge knights though.
