Favorite Videogame Map?

So Multiplayer is becoming more prevelant and with more audience must come improved battlegrounds.
So what is your favorite map?
Mine is from BF 2, Wake Island is just awesome.

Oh.. I thought this would be about singleplayer overworld maps or something. And by the way, Wake Island is not originally from BF2- it's from BF1942 (and is full of other equally awesome maps)

As far as multiplayer maps go, my favourites are probably Complex, The Edge, Morpheus and Skyrail (the TWINE one, not the Nightfire one)

Hm... for me it's gotta be Reach with either Countdown from if we're talking small player numbers or Boneyard for Invasion. Countdown has all those fun movement routes and Boneyard has long range, indoor, vehicles all in one map with the plus of not being so big that you'll need to walk half a minute to get to the frontlines.

Halo: Reach- Forge World and the many, many Grifball Arenas

Black Ops- Cracked is a really great map

Gears of War- Fuel Station

There were some really good maps in SOCOM II that put most if not all maps in COD to shame, and I'm not even talking about the super popular ones either. There was so many really good maps in that game

Ruins, Vigilance, Sandstorm, Enowapi....oh I could name practically all of them

2fort from Team Fortress 2. Such a simple map, but so much fun!

I love the "Streets" map in TimeSplitters 2. Especially playing on the Virus mode in multiplayer. Sooo much fun!

GTA's free roam... okay thats fun when running from a helicopter in a lambo at high speed down a high way with cop notoriety on you and your friend is screaming "Say hallo to my little friend" blazing his AK. I love sandbox multiplayer like that. The whole city is the map.

I can't really pick a favorite because I love most of them (75% at least) from all the Halo games and Killzone 2 and hopefully Killzone 3 (I already like the snow map in the beta).

Valparaiso and Port Valdez are two of BC2's best maps. Port Valdez is especially good as there are plenty of good sniping potions whether you're Russian or US.

The Very End of You (Quake 3 Arena). All the bots just suicide run the BFG squishier.

Thats easy, the bigger the better hence my vote goes for GTA San Andreas and Just Cause 2

Crash and crossfire from COD4 for me
