I'm a sucker for the Space Marines. Mostly from the novels, mind (I've only played the DoW series) but that can be enough.

Failing that, Necrons. Necrons vs Tyranids would be an awesome match up.

I don't play anymore and have just given away my rather substantial collection to my cousins but I used to collect Imperial Guard.
They were just brilliant, so many weapons to fire and the tanks, oh the tanks. I myself was a big fan of the heavy weapons teams, I like using them. I even had a few figures from the Gaunt novels.
