Another Vote for L4D. Fast paced zombie shooting-in-the-face-with-a-shotgun never gets old.

Dead Rising. L4D is good but people annoy me and after losing the desire to sit through the hour or so each campaign generally takes, other games caught my attention.
I do intend on going back, mostly because I want to get 1000g in it, just....not yet.

Left 4 Dead

surprisingly there are not many games that I know of that are based on zombies.
Just L4D, RE, Dead Rising, House of the Dead, and maybe 1 to 3 more, but that's it as far as I know.

Dead Rising.

It's exactly what a Zombie game should be. Slow mindless dumb zombies. Swarming, and you've gotta improvise to survive.

Left4Dead by far. ^^ The combat's great, and you do actually feel like it's a zombie game. (Trying not to quote Yahtzee. ><)

Dead Rising was good fun.
I'll stick to that or perhaps the original Resident Evil (or rather, the REmake).

I just picked up the Wii version, Chop til You Drop. It's pretty damn amazing.

L4D got old for me after awhile...

Not entirely true. If you pay attention to the characters dialogue, the writing and scribbles on the walls, and other clues throughout the campaigns, you can glean a lot of info on the back story.

Needless to say, my vote goes to Left 4 Dead. Unequivocally.

I also like Zombie Panic Source, which is a mod, but still very fun.

I think I am the only one who thinks this but left for dead sucked in my opinion. It was fun the first play through, but then it got so repetative! And luckily I got it in the valve complete pack so I got some other decent games to.
