My answer is two openings of the same anime--Resonance, the first opening of Soul Eater and Paper Moon, the second opening to Soul Eater, both = epic win especially if you go to YouTube and type in Smash Eater/Smash Eater 2 and find some totally fucking epic results.

Sums up the characters and hints at what's going to happen. Plus the song is awesome

Well, I saw the thread title and had this in mind, so there's no need to post it now.

The song is awesome(the full version is even better), the girl that sings it is gorgeous. The animation is fun, and it's just a very well put together opening.

The first credits are brilliant as well.

I really love Durarara!'s first opening. It's definitely my favorite. It's so full of energy and really showcases Suzuhito Yasuda's amazing artstyle.

Second favorite goes to Eureka Seven's first OP. There's no way I'm biased over the fact that it uses FLOW's best song.

Rurouni Kenshin has probably one of the better op's of the 90's. It gives a good impression of the series, shows off some of the action, establishes the important cast members, and uses a very appropriate song. Overall the theme fits, and I just love Kenshin's Batosai moment near the end of the opening.

This. Brand New World is probably my favorite One Piece opening. I will say that the newest one is probably my least favorite of the One Piece openings.

I really love this. Code Geass is my favourite Anime.

EDIT: Damn it, now I need to watch it again.

I just finished rewatching Code Geass, that show is just great.

OT: As everyone has said the Cowboy Bebop opening is awesome, it just fits the series perfectly. I'm not really sure which opening is my favorite, it is probably a toss up between Brand New World (One Piece) and Tank! (Cowboy Bebop).

My favorites are the One Piece themes, mainly being the 5th and the 10th, being a remix of the original theme. These are so damn catchy for some reason. Of course who could forget the original Pokemon Theme as well. Cowboy Bebop has a good one as well. But the 10th One Piece is the best by far.
