Favourite/best opening sequence in a game?

What is your favourite opening sequence in a game? I just replayed a little bit of CoD4 the other day and I thought the opening sequence was brilliant!
What are some of the ones you guys have come across?

The opening to Smash Bros Brawl, the first time was simply magical.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
all magical, and left me all tingly.

Half-Life has the best opening sequence out of any game I have ever played. It draws you right into the game.

Bioshock, for sure.

It never breaks the immersion from the wonderful water/fire effects to the fantastic Ryan speech... and then you see Rapture loom over the horizon....just perfect

HHHmm.. so many games, can't even remember. I am playing the CoD story over again as well and the cut scenes are pretty great. Also Halo Wars has really good cut scenes.

Banjo Kazooie. This was one of the best opening theme songs in my opinion. It was simply amazing.

My favorite is the opening to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I love the music in it.

Call of Duty 4, Final Fantasy VII, and Bioshock all blew me away with their beginnings. A lot of video game developers don't seem to recognize the importance of the 'hook.'

I remember playing that game for the first time, wow. All the games I have purchased I watch the opening sequences... sets the tone.

Dead Rising's (slightly hidden) opening sequence in which a woman and her daughter are driving through Willamette. Everything about it was creepy, all the lines were delivered surprisingly well for a Capcom game, and it set the mood perfectly for the game. "Mommy, what was that noise?" "Nothing, sweetie...I just ran over a big frog."

I've always liked the Killzone intros, however I have to agree with everyone about how well done the Bioshock intro was.

My favorite is the opening to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I love the music in it.

I agree; also because I got the game for my birthday, and Aryll comes up the viewpoint and says to Link, "Did you forget what day it is? It's your birthday!"

Needless to say, many laughs were had.

Also, Bioshock had a stunning opening, and I really like Twilight Princess's (some epic quotes to be had there.)
