Favourite Comedy Anime

Due to the large number of threads dedicated to best/favourite anime, I thought it was odd that no one ever specified.

Because favourite anime is kinda a big question, I'd like to ask what is your favourite comedy anime. Mine would probably be Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei or Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (I didn't think the main series was that good, but I thought those episodes were hilarious).


Also, I did search bar this topic, an couldn't find anything.

Most comedic Anime I've seen have far superior Manga counterparts.

Azumanga Daioh was pretty funny.. Randomly funny. And it mentions Denmark, wooo.

Call me old school but Dragonhalf, City Hunter, plus some like Chobits, Read or Die and Chrono Crusade can have some good comedy elements

What are you crazy? Next you'll be telling me Kira is a villain. My favorite has to be Nerima Daikon brothers, the music is great and has some of the most memorable characters I've seen in a parody. ALSO! Bobobobobobobo. That should go without saying though.

Definitely those.

Ranma 1/2 can be hilarious at times. Most of these times involve a panda.

My fave manga/anime series right there, I just figured it'd not be strictly considered a comedy.

Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (I didn't think the main series was that good, but I thought those episodes were hilarious).

Just the other way around for me. FMP had a serious background story that appealed to me and fumoffu was just too much slapstick.

I can't belive anyone hasn't said Excel saga yet it's bloody hilarious. I was laughing all the way through the first episode.
