Birds of Tokyo + Silversun Pickups.

Although, that could just be because I haven't been to many other concerts to compare it with.

My fave has been Gojira with Carbomb. THe Chariot was there, but they don't count. Carbomb crushed anything that I've ever heard in metal for live shows. Plus they had the coolest light show ever, and they were all instrumentals because their singer had to go back home to work, lol. Gojira was just as good as their albums. I expected nothing less. Great night of metal, for the most part.

Tool and Tomahawk(Mike Patton's other other side thing, he's got about a bajillion of them) in Tucson. Bad-assed. I went for Tool, and then when I found out Tomahawk was on the bill, i 'bout wept. Not really, but it was a great show.

Fear Factory and Type o Negative wayyyy back when. Type o was touring in support of October Rust, and Fear Factory was only playing Demanufacture songs, which they still do, lol. Still a great show, and my first ever.

THe best individual live act I've seen was Mudvayne when they were touring even before their album LD 50 came out. I'm so glad I saw them then, and not later when they had phoned it in.

30 Seconds to Mars in Cardiff, was amazing! Going back there to see them again in November :)
Me too!
I've only been two concerts, Lostprophets in Cardiff and Muse in Wembley on the 11th of September.
Muse were easily the best and had Biffy Clyro supporting them so they win.

I haven't been to many concerts but one I did enjoy was a Static X show that came around where I lived. :) Started to rain and they just kept on playing. It was awesome and the opening bads were cool too.

Judas. Expletive. Priest.

The Metal Gods, my favourite band, and a live show that lived up to expectations. Better than Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth or Slayer.

Hands down, Disturbed at Uproar festival. Stone Sour, Airbourne, and HELLYEAH were all there, too, just to make it that much better.

Black Stone Cherry - Whitesnake - Def Leppard - Sheffield 2008

Whitesnake sucked, didn't look bothered at all, very "by the numbers"

BSC were the support band, and deserved Whitesnake's spot by a mile, capped with a cover of "Voodoo Child" that was ossome.

DL, in their hometown, took the goddamn roof off, plenty of eye contact with the audience, used the stage completely, and made sure everyone went home happy, not a person was sat down from "Rocket" to "Lets Get Rocked"

Last weekend actually. Saw Crystal Castles at Roundhouse in Camden, honestly it was the best I've ever seen them. Beats Latitude by far, plus HEALTH were supporting who were just insanely good live. For a electro band they put on such a good show, Ethan stands hunched over his synth while Alice sreams and writhes around on stage. She doesn't so much crowd surf anymore as she does walk perfectly upright on it. Seriously she's perfected it, it's just nuts that someone can do that at a gig. That's got to be the best thing about their gigs, the audience interaction. There's no bullshit chat or 'thanks for coming' on stage, she just gets right into it and spends half the gig crowd surfing. She even finds time during all this to smoke on stage half way through, plus she often takes her bottle of wiskey with her into the crowd and pour it in people's mouths. I caught up with her after the gig last Friday and she was so nice, I said she doesn't talk or thank people on stage but she's perfectly happy to once it's finished. She shook hands and thanked people for coming and asked us what we thought of HEALTH before leaving to go get more drunk she said.

CRYSTAL CASTLES!

I've only been to one. Sabaton and Alestorm, Wolverhampton 15/10/10. And it was fucking awesome.
