There are so many great games, I just can't choose...

I'm stuck between Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Republic Commando, Final Fantasy 7:Crisis Core, and Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl.

I don't know, maybe Stalker by a very small margin. I just think that it's the most immersive game I've ever played. More immersive than Bioshock and Fallout.

Not sure, but I'm gonna go with Super Metroid this time. Everything is great in it except the story. The over all concept, map design, music, sounds, boss fights and atmosphere is easily one of the best. There are many techniques you can learn to discover secret areas and get you out of tight situations. Also, it was very challenging, both finding new paths and surviving. There is no retard indicator to tell you where to go next like in Prime, you really had to think.

Haven't played many games as interesting and deep as Super Metroid. I hold it up as high art. I couldn't give a fuck what others say, this game is legendary.

Final Fantasy VII. Characters are awesome, I love the story, and the game is pretty fun. Oddly enough, I mostly play shooters, too.

Final Fantasy 7 & 8, Ocarina of Time...I'm 18 by the way...I'm into the actual good games that came out before say, 2006? Well I say that, I do still have love for other games nowadays...but...Nostalgia....I miss the Golden Age of games!

It is really tough, but in the end I will say the game I spent over 700 hours on. Battlefield, Bad Company 2.

Assassins creed 2. I wouldn't say its the BEST game ive ever played ( Half-life 2 snatches that by a mile), nor is it the game iv'e played the most in my life (Warcraft 3, something about DotA never gets old), but something about that game is so likable. Its not as mind-numbingly awesome as Half-Life, nor as immersive as DotA. But something about that game awakens memories untouched

Its hard to nail just one. At the moment Uncharted 2: Among Thieves felt like a masterpiece when it comes to action adventure games. Its a genre that seems to be dying off due to sandbox and fps shooters being the norm with games like these.

I've got to say Ar Tonelico. They take a bunch of common things in JRPGs and throw them out the window making their own battle system, language, and making the characters very distinct. Besides they focus on music and that for me is a big plus.

I would have to say either Dead Rising 2, for being in every way better than the original, or Super Mario Bros. 3, because it is probably the best Mario game ever made. There are a lot of games I could think of, but I tried to put down only 2.

WOW!

THIS THREAD HAS TOTALLY NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!

OT: I unno, Bully [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bully_(video_game)], I guess, it was hilarious, fun and immersive.
dude i just made an acoount,
I know, but surely you could have taken 10 seconds to type the thread name into the search bar and see how many of these god-damn "Wahts ur fav gaem evar" threads are made every bloody day....
hey, I have an idea! How about next time you see a thread like this, instead of clicking on it, with the sole reason to just complain about it, just move on and don't bother with it!

Problem solved :D

OT: My favourite game was Fallout 3. I spent the most hours on it, and it was super fun to play. I just like the free roam aspect in games I guess. Although I don't like Fallout: New Vegas as much...

I like Half Life. The puzzles, combat and level design all pulled me in like no other game has since. Although Ocarina of Time is a close second.

Right now? Magic: The Gathering, as in the actual cards

Pulled a Koth of the Hammer from a booster pack last night just before Friday Night Magic started, was well chuffed. Put him straight into my deck.

P3P (PSP) because I have an affinity for games that reward my willingness to engage in repetitive actions. I also have a great appreciation for media which maintains a pervading sense of mystery and foreboding.

While I love Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed and all them, I'm gonna have to go with Interstate '76 (with Time Crisis as a close second) because I thought the storyline was cool, the gameplay was amazing, and it's a game never really been done again. I mean, car combat, sure, in arenas and games with no real plot. Twisted Metal is Mortal Kombat in cars. And also, this one gets serious nostalgia points, I've often thought of buying an old windows computer just so I can play it again.

Tales of Symphonia always claims its place as my favorite game of all time. It's about 40 hours long (just doing the main quest and a couple of side quests) but it's worth every minute of it. Plus, it's the only game to have made me cry. And not just once, twice in ten minutes.
