"The only predictable thing about the future is uncertainty"
"You don't NEED a reason to help people"
"I'M BASCH FON RONSENBURG OF DALMASCA!"
"Outside the dream world, life can be harsh, even cruel, but it is life"
"I'm not here to help. I just want it to be fair"

Oh Final Fantasy...

"Dear Humanity, we regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to Earth, and we most definitely regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy-ass fleet!" The Gospel of Johnson, Johnson 7:7:7.

First thing that came to mind. Probably could've found something better, but this will do.

Just got this one from Ace Attorney Investigations.

Edgeworth: I believe the proper term here is, "You fail."

'We've always kept records of our lives. Through words, pictures, symbols, from tablets to books, but not all the information was inherited by later generations. A small percentage of the whole was selected and processed, then passed on. Not unlike genes, really. That's what history is. But in the current, digitized world, trivial information is accumulating every second, preserved in all its triteness. Never fading, always accessible. The digital society furthers human flaws and selectively rewards development of convenient half-truths. Just look at the strange juxtapositions of morality around you. Billions spent on new weapons in order to humanely murder other humans. Rights of criminals are given more respect than the privacy of their victims. Although there are people suffering in poverty, huge donations are made to protect endangered species. Everyone grows up being told the same thing: be nice to other people, but beat out the competition! "You're special." "Believe in yourself and you will succeed." But it's obvious from the start that only a few can succeed. You exercise your right to "freedom" and this is the result. All rhetoric to avoid conflict and protect each other from hurt. The untested truths spun by different interests continue to churn and accumulate in the sandbox of political correctness and value systems. Not even natural selection can take place here. The world is being engulfed in "truth." And this is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but a whimper.'

Never has a malevolent force in a videogame ever made such a convincing argument for why it wishes to control human thought.

"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"
-Protagonist from Balder's Gate.

I'm sorry, but I've wanted to say that in just about every RPG I've ever played. :)

Just about everything form Planescape... give or take 5.2%

Also from Psychonauts:
Dr. Loboto: I hate to be so blunt, but YOU have the insanity... of a manatee!

Dogen: I know, people are always saying that. What do you think's wrong with my brain, doctor?

Dr. Loboto: How should I know? I'm a dentist.

Ooooh, awesome pick!! That one's a gem!!! You gotta admit, however, that we wouldn't be getting as much XP without the riddle asking, quest assigning, etc, right? ;)

Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? 'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.' 'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.' 'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture!
-Andrew Ryan (best intro ever)

Anything said by Ellis from L4D2, e.g. "This one time me and my buddy Kieth..." etc

This is true, but sometimes I really wish there was a hidden dialogue option that read, "Punch twit of an NPC in the face".

There's no way I could compete with that awesome quote from Baldur's Gate, but one of my favourite quotes came from Final Fantasy XII, and it rings true with how things were in my life a few years ago.

"The Illusions of the past. You think to have cast them off, only to find them years later, unwearying, unrelenting. The past can bind a man as surely as irons." - Reddas.

"They said you were the only survivor. Who am I to argue?"-Cpl. Toombes from Mass Effect 1
Poor guy...

Or alternatively, "I'm tired of your snide insinuations"

I actually just got to that part (so I'm a few years late....). That was awesome.
I also like this quote, however.
"No, you have let the milkman go.... The rivers shall run wight with his wrath."

"Say goodbye to your kneecap's, Chucklehead."

Team Fortress 2, The Scout

Really, almost anything from TF2, since the game is so quoteable.

"All you care about is that dead wife of yours!" - Maria, Silent Hill 2.
"I sense a soul in search of answers!" - Adria's ridiculously over-enunciated greeting in Diablo.
Annnnd pretty much half of everything said by Garrus in Mass Effect, and Morrigan and Alistair in Dragon Age.
