The sticky proximity grenades from N64 Golden Eye. Nothing ramped up the tension like playing heads up on a map full of doorways and stairs.

Halo grenades that stuck were good. Enjoyed watching people run away with them stuck on them.

I like Fallout 3 where you can put them in pockets. Not as practical as shooting them in the face but fun none the less.

In custom games in Halo, I'll often try to get kills with only grenades, preferably sticks. It's fun as hell to do, especially if everyone else only sticks people as well.

Fire grenades from Halo. Nothing more satisfying than setting people alight. Also the gas grenades from deus ex were good. Incapacitated most enemies wile you carefully lined up a headshot. Not to meantion the fact you get dozens of the things.
