Well then I'd say a classic SMG from Halo as well would be my fav.

Battle Rifle - Halo 3.
AK47 - Almost every modern shooter.
The Gravity Gun - Half Life 2.

Every .45 or 9mm automatic pistol ever.
Every revolver above .38 caliber.
Pump shotgun in every game, but especially the Punisher. I dont know why that stands out so much. But it does.
And I love me a good ol' fashioned bolt or lever action rifle.

Wasn't a gun. He just tossed the disco ball. My personal favorite is the Vulcan Fury from Jak II/3.

Gravity Gun and Portal Gun from the Orange Box.

Plasmids and soon-to-be Bouncer Drill+Rivet Gun combo in the Bioshock series.

All of the "make-your-own" guns in Fallout 3 were awesome. I've had way too much fun with the Rock-It Launcher and the Railway Gun than I should have.

Various upgrades and enhancements to Vincent's gun in Dirge of Cerberus

The M4. If a game has an M4 in it, that's ALL I use. I have a manly, manly boner for that gun.

The Peace Maker from Jak II and 3.
The Stake Gun from Pain Killer.
AND the Dual Raptors from Ratchet: Deadlocked.

Every revolver, double-barrel(better if it's sawed-off) as well as pump shotgun I can find, don't know why I love the pump so much though, guess the reloading sound as well as slower rate of fire makes it seem more powerful in some way. As for my favorite of each weapon though:

RC-DS Remote Control Disc Ripper from deadspace... I didnt like the game that much, but I had so much fun with that gun XD

WH40K - The Space Marine Bolter. All the way. Or the Tau Rail-Rifle...*sigh*

Halo - The Brute Spikers, for some reason.

Fallout 3 - A choice...again. The FatMan, or A3-21's Plasma Rifle.
