Favourite League of Legends Champions?

Right so what are your preferred/favourite LoL champions?

For me it'd have to be Lulu, simply because her quotes are just too awesome.

And you know, good support buffs and damage (if you take the AP build especially) and she's not as squishy as she looks.

And she turns people into pink squirrels come on now, that's just amazing

Also Kayle and Morgana, less so Morgana now actually. Her Dark Binding just annoys me XP Kayle is just cool. She has flaming wings and a fiery halo what's not to love?

Now anyone who says Fiddlesticks or Master Yi are damn liars because all that natural ownage must get boring after a while XD

Yorick is a lot of fun to play. I also like Veigar and Nasus and usually can farm my q to ridiculous levels. Fiora is my jungle main in unranked. And Hecarim has been some fun since his release, although he is rather weak at the moment.

A friend just got me to try this game today. So far, I really suck. No clue what I am doing. But I unlocked Annie after my first game, and am having a blast using her anyway.

Fotunately for you, nobody knows what they are doing that early. It takes a while to get used to, but once you do the game is like crack.

Also, as a side note: The importance of Masteries and Runes cannot be understated. When I started I didn't see much a point to runes (You have to waste IP on them when I can get another cool champ? Pffft). But once you use them and then go without for whatever reason, it's like night and day. Learning the importance of masteries is also a very important fact, as many games I've played have been decided by a slight tip in favor of one team over another.

Learning good team composition is also important, as well as understanding who goes where for each of the lanes and why.

But anywho... yeah...

No runes yet. I got enough points to buy Annie from the tutorial, and then played a game against the AI and got demolished. As near as I can tell, the AI goes to whichever lane I am in, and the "why" is "to kill me in two shots".

Singed. I love Singed, so much fun running around like a maniac, not giving a damn, and still winning is just pure epicness. Next up is Hecarim, he reminds me of an evil version of Theoden (hero form in BFME2) and it's awesome. Lux lazors every 24 seconds is awesome epic, along with the insanity that is Ziggy, explosives, everywhere!

Morgana... Yes, I know I am cheap bastard...

Hey she's not that cheap... Except y'know she's sort of ungankable the entire game. XD Her Dark Binding is completely dodgeable if your opponent knows what he's doing...

Though two Morganas at mid is just pure pain, you both know what the other is trying to do AKA land a Dark Binding into Tormented Soil/ult and just generally farm with the Soil. Hence both of you just dancing behind friendly minions whilst opening a farm for about half the game XD

Two Lulus I can deal with, it's just who can capitalise on a well placed Whimsy/Glitterlance first. Simple and effective

My biggest problem is just not knowing what other characters can do.

"Dave! What can X do?!"

"Oh he's got a headbutt... And can heal"

"Why am I next to the enemy turret all of a sudden?!"

"Oh that's his headbutt effect. Told ya"

"Where did this guy come from?"

"Oh he can turn invisible... Watch out for that"

Annie is pretty awesome, do you get a free random Champion after your first game then? Because I have Kayle and I know for a fact I didn't go and buy her at any point... Maybe that's how I got her

With any character, find a decent build on mobafire (one that has a decent percentage and is kinda recent) and stick to it. Maybe swap the item order a bit if you need to.

As for Annie tips... Well, there's a reason she's banned in most ranked games (along with Morgana XD) Free last hits all day with her fireball and Tibbers is just pure damage.

Morgana is just immovable solo mid, seriously unless she fails a tower dive or something equally tragic nothing is ever going to touch her. Black Shield and Flash/Heal just negates everything.

No, I just got the points from the tutorial, and spent them on her.

Whatever the other guy said, don't fucking use mobafire. Use solomid.net or lolpro.com I think it was, either or, but don't you fucking use mobafire. Nothing but glass cannons and guides that are mostly in no way viable.

......That's it, you obviously have no idea what you are even on about. Not a single person playing ranked would even think about banning Annie, not even in ELO hell is she banned. If someone on your teams bans Annie then I can promise you that you are fucked from the start.

OT: Don't have one. From how much I circulate around playing the roles I can't get a good feel for just one champ. Used to be Jax, but they fucked him completely over and I've played him once since and it just wasn't the same.

Cheap shots on people trying to recall behind turrets forcing them to move make me smile. Getting that guy who just killed me with my Icathian surprise(turn into a suicide bomber when I die) is awesome.

Plus I really like being able to spam my artillery when the situation calls for it. Especially fun when I get golem.

Viking-looking savage dual-wielding axes. I love how the less the health he has the more dangerous he is, that Reckless Strike deals a buttload of damage while also bypassing all resistances and that his ultimate makes him immune to everything except death. The satisfaction of fighting a full-health enemy while having less than 50% health remaining and walking away victorious is huge.

I love me some Mordekaiser.
I just feel so trollish while playing him, he is such a hard character to dislodge from a lane and I've gotten delicious double kills when people are dumb enough to try and gank me when I had my full shield up and my ult.
The only bad part about him is that it is damn near impossible to not push a lane as morde, because if you only last hit with right click you're not going to have your shield up and people will just slowly whittle away your hp from counter hits.

Other favorites are Shaco, Yorick, Viktor (Death Ray fun) and Lee Sin.

Last time I played, Brand was the newest champ, so that gives you an idea how long ago it was.
My favorites back then were Irelia mainly, followed by Malzahar and Soraka. I have a weak spot for Lux as well, but Irelia is my absolute favorite. Too bad all her alternative skins are really crappy =(
