Here Comes the Sun: The Beatles

Here comes the sun...dun dun dun duh, here comes the sun...and I say...it's all right.
Oh yeah, that's a good one.

Anyway, although they aren't very mellow, I still find them very relaxing: Our Love [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OOC6OvYbIk&feature=PlayList&p=74C7F160EE8A9D54&index=6] by the Derek Trucks Band, and Nirvana's version of The Man Who Sold The World. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=209ArurxVG4]

Stickerbush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The original version, not the Brawl version.

Here it is:

I'm quoting you not so much for your song decision, but because I love your avatar. Mr. Teatime ("Teh-ah-tim-eh") FTW!

As for my song pick, Be Thankful For What You Got by William Devaughn.

To Zanarkand, from Final Fantasy X. The most beautiful piano song I've ever heard. One that comes close is the piano version of Memory of Light and Wave, from Final Fantasy X-2.

I don't know why, but Folsom Prison Blues for me.
Love that song.

OP: My definition of 'Mellow' is far different from the people on this post so I'll pick this one.

New Slang by The Shins:

I was hoping I'd see something by The Shins, it made me happy to see some Elbow on the other page too.

My mellow song at the moment would have to be this;

Damn near anything by Tom Waits, especially the album "Alice". Something about his style just chills me the hell right out, pretty much no matter what. Otherwise I'd have to say "Herr Drosselmeyer's Doll" by Abney Park. Slightly haunting and calming.

Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel.I just love that song.
I whole heartedly agree.

Also Friends O'Mine by Bowling For Soup is pretty good.

However my ultra-super duper omega u(with umlaut)ber mellow song is:

Long Black Train - Richard Hawley

843 Plays so far.

(However brownie points go to: I Found A Reason - Cat Powers)
