I really don't think I could pick one: Uprising, Time is running out, hysteria, plug in baby, Knights of Cydonia, Sing for absolution, Thoughts of a dying Atheist, Stockholm Syndrome, bliss, MK ultra, unnatural selection, and Assassin (grand omega bosses edit). They are all so good for diffirent reasons.

Best Muse song?

Citizen Erased (Hullabaloo version)

closely followed by Dead Star

Their last two albums have been shite though...
I kinda agree, their are a few catchy songs in the two new one's, but nothing really substantial or impressive.

Absolution, and The Origin of symmetry, are by far Muse's finest hours.

I haven't heard anything from Showbiz, but I hear the whole album is just incredibly average.

Sing for Absolution was my favorite song for years. Since then I've always loved it despite having other songs I now enjoy more. However, it remains my favorite song by Muse, so here it is.

Damn, so many good songs to choose from. Just to be different, I'm going to say "Uno". It's one of my favourite lesser known songs. EDIT: I just listened to it again and realised that it's probably one of my favourite Muse songs in general (I say "one of" because there are so many that I like) Also, have an embed:
Obviously I love all the modern classics like "Hysteria", "Knights of Cydonia" or "Uprising". Not such a big fan of their latest album to be honest, although it was still good. Same goes for Origin - not one of my faves but still a solid album. Absolution and Black Holes are just all around amazing though, two of my favourite albums of all time.

I guess my top songs are Plug In Baby, Time is Running Out, Assassin, Space Dementia, Undisclosed Desires, and Sing for Absolution. There's still so many songs of theirs that I haven't heard yet.

I find it hard to believe that only one person so far (EDIT: okay, and another one while I was writing) has mentioned New Born. But then not so much when I remember that they somehow went almost completely unheard of outside the UK until they released Absolution.

Anyway, yes: I still remember with complete clarity the first time I heard New Born. I'd enjoyed their first album and was quite keen to hear what they'd come up with for a second one. I was sitting in the office, busily hating every minute of my job, with the radio next to me. On the phone and the piano intro was going on, "that's pretty cool" I thought, and then it dropped. And so did my jaw, all the way to the desk. The person on the other end of the phone (some random supplier trying to sell us stuff we didn't need) thought the line had gone dead, so I took the chance to hang up and pay full attention to the radio.

It's a real shame that their last two albums were a load of drivel (with the possible exception of Knights Of Cydonia, although GH3 did a great job of ruining that for me), 'cos on the evidence of the first three they were ever-present in my list of favourite bands. Now, not so much.

Citizen Erased, followed close by Butterflies & Hurricanes. Although I could easily place Plug in Baby, Bliss, Space Dementia and New Born there. :D

Wow, I can't believe Matt Bellamy was younger than me when he made that.

He must of been like 21.

Not really sure.

Uprising is definitely among the top 5, but i also like Neutron Star Collision, Time is Running Out, Hysteria, Starlight, and Knights of Cydonia.

I've got no idea in which order to rate them though.

It would have to be between Blackout, Escape or Sing for Absolution.
Blackout due to the beautifully mournful depression of it all, of a life lost, a life wasted.
Escape due to the raw emotion, the desperateness of it all.
Sing for Absolution because of the beautiful, terrifying destructiveness of it. I can see him screaming this as the world falls apart beneath him, as all that ever was dies as he protests at the last, finally giving way to resignation.
