Man, this might chalk me up as being a really old fart, but did anyone else ever play the old Commander Keen games? I used to play Goodbye Galaxy! all the time at my grandparents' house on their computer. That's a classic if ever there was one.

Or the original Myst.
Still gives me the creeps to this day.
Myst gave you the creeps? Seriously? It wasn't scary at all, sure you aren't thinking of Seventh Guest, which Myst poorly knocked off (And was fairly scary)?

This is tough, I'm old school...For old titles that I still enjoy playing every now and then I might go with the original XCom UFO Defense. For games that I remember playing the HELL out of when I was young, probably Indianapolis 500, which was the first proper racing game made by Papyrus.

Although I did a lot of solo gaming in my youth, my biggest nostalgia trips come from replaying Mario Kart 64 with friends. The new Mario Kart games for the Wii, sadly, do not give me the same pleasure.

Hmmm, favorite old games...

Legend of the Mystical Ninja starring Goemon (N64)
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition (SNES)
Is JSRF too new?

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time counts as an old game... It had a wonderful story, fun gameplay, and terrific puzzles and platforming. Damn near perfect, it was.
The combat gameplay kind of shat all over that.

Still, brilliant game.
My favourite 'old' game of the moment is probably Duke Nukem 3D, if only for its utter madness. Old games are mostly the best.

Donkey Kong Country 2. Absolutely loved that game, on of the best on the SNES.
Between these two and the very first Pokémon games I think we got it covered.
Oh God, the nostalgia... I wish I hadn't sold my dear old SNES and Gameboy. Seriously, it keeps me up at night. :'(

What is this strange, new-fangled contraption you're talking about? 'Gameboy Color'...? :p
I played the first two gens on that trusty grey brick that gave you a headache with its bad resolution and could be used to bludgeon people to death.

Rollercoaster Tycoon.
It's like crack, but on a computer.
Screw Peggle.
Peggle isn't old.

Anyway.

Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Homeworld.
Theme Park.
Ceasar.
Civilisation.
Sim City 2000.

They really don't make those "empire building" games like they used to. If they do at all.
I was just saying that in the addictiveness factor, Rollercoaster Tycoon is better than Peggle.
Besides, no one talks about peggle too much.

Wasteland - played the hell out of it on my C64 and it is basically the begining of the Fallout series
