You don't get to know my favourite old game; now, don't make repeat threads!
Given the rule against thread necromancy people shouldn't be so upset about repeat threads.
Why not just look through the replies on an old thread?

I can't go that far back seeing as I'm only 16. Warcraft 3 is pretty damn old now. Reader rabbit? If that counts. Rollar coaster Tycoon is another.

EDIT: Or donald duck quack attack. That was a fantastic game

EDIT 2:

'Cause then there won't be any new replies to it, and given the amount of traffic this forum gets, not everyone will have seen a thread.

PONG. That redefines OLD. Actually, my favorite old game is a Link to the Past. So many summers trying to beat that game under the record time.

My favorite game in general is Final Fantasy VII.

If we're talking about favorite games we used to play, rather than favorite old games, it would be the entire Crash Bandicoot series (on the PS1: the rest of those disgraces don't count).

Surely you would be satisfied with 5 or so pages of replies.

Anyway, with a question like this, the answers would probably be the same.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed something so much as Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64.
It was ten times the game that Conker: Live and Reloaded on the Xbox was and one hundred times better than the mediocrity Rareware's shoveling out now.

Man I need to get that game working.

It was an old PC platformer/fighter where you played as a pirate cat.
Yes. A pirate cat.
When was that game released? I seems interesting, but I never heard of it, so I might get it if I do not find a compatibility issue.
OT: Every game I won: Half Life, System Shock 2, Silent Hill 2, American McGee's Alice, Age of Empires2, Starcraft, Age of Mythology, Serious Sam, Far Cry, Max Apyne 1 and 2, Thief Trilogy, Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, etc, etc, etc.

Man, this might chalk me up as being a really old fart, but did anyone else ever play the old Commander Keen games? I used to play Goodbye Galaxy! all the time at my grandparents' house on their computer. That's a classic if ever there was one.
I do remember them, only played the first episode though (shareware and all, and being about 9 at the time). Same developers also made Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure around the same time. Played the hell out of that when it came out.

Man, I almost only play old games. Well, may as well go by favorite game for a console

NES- Megaman 2
Genesis- Rocket Knight Adventures
SNES- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Playstation- Final Fantasy
Nintendo 64- Super Mario 64
Playstation 2- Final Fantasy X & Shadow of the Colossus

Anything after those consoles isn't really 'old' and I never had a dreamcast

Croc on the PS1.
Bet I'm the only here who played it.
Croc was amazing. Platforming at its best.
Must say though my favourite old game was Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. A sandbox game where you can devour souls. Can't go wrong.

Also black and white, diablo II, digimon world, duke nukem 3D, jazz jackrabbit, sonic the hedgehog, pokemon, twisted metal 2. And if you want really old, good ol' pack man. and centipede. and space invaders. and dig dug. Oh god there's just so many
