Haunter. Coolest look, coolest type, and one of the best combos in the whole game (Hypnosis + Dream Eater).

Although Eevee is a close second favourite, if only on account of heart-melting cuteness. <3

Charmander ... not charizard, I don't like evolving my pokemon. Mainly because Charmander learns attacks ike flamethrower and fire blast heaps earlier, and when you evolve it it becomes weak to pretty much everything.

damn, pokemon ruined my hsc this year. instead of studying, i caught the 151 using no cheats (except mew), and then got bored, and decided to use mew as a starter good times.

anyway, mew has got to be my favorite, purely because i started and finished with him. can whip the elite 4 on level 40... damn i love that guy

non legendary would probably have to be dragonair. only weak to ice (dragon doesnt count... only ever does 40 damage), and strong as to boot.
