In the third row of pictures, next to Carmine. That is a crazy-eyed ***** right there. Even without the gun/armour I'd be a little cautious of her.Koeryn said:http://www.nightmarearmorstudios.com/portfolio.htm

It's the sense of accomplishment, a demonstration of skill. Besides, sewing can be fun.H.R.Shovenstuff said:Oh god why the fuck would anyone cosplay seriously.
Hah. Hahahah.Anonymouse said:I am white. We are not allowed to cosplay. White people suck at cosplay soo damn much that I could cosplay myself and it would look shitty. I would look 30lbs heavier and like my clothing is made out of cardboard and tin foil.

I'm making a wooden one if anyones interested. 6 foot including handle. 55" by 10" by 2" for the blade. Still unsure about how i'm going to attach the handle or have a handle strong enough to suppose it though. Its about 8-9kg worth of wood for the blade.
Cool, i like the idea. I'm still trying to work out which construction method would be the best. Making it out of 1 completely solid piece of wood, making a frame, and now doing what your friends doing there.Caimekaze said:A friend of mine has made that. Still working on it, obviously.![]()

For me it's all about vests and coats... since I don't own any puffy shirts. But then again I essentially dress up as a Steampunk version of Han Solo so... finery is not so "In character".Clashero said:I dress in Steampunk as well. The puffy cotton shirts and leather aviator headgear are my favourite.PedroSteckecilo said:I don't "cosplay" so to speak, but I am part of a Steampunk Costuming Group here in the city. My favorite piece of my costume would be my modified goggles. Bought them for $10 at a raver shop in Amsterdamme and modified them when I got home from my vacation.
Oh, and a female friends has the most amazing leather boots, with copper buckles on the straps.
