Pokemon would have to be Gulpin or Gengar. Delibird is pretty close.

Favorite Pokemon? Don't know. Hard for me to say. There's so many I love. But at the moment, I'm feeling Cyndaquil since the boyfriend recently got me a plush of one, and it was my first ever Pokemon.
Favorite Digimon? Again, not sure. Look-wise, either Aquilamon
or Guilmon

Favorite Digimon would probably be WarGreymon.

In Pokemon, i tend to not notice the designs of the 'mons, because i always focus on thier abilities and what i can do with them.
In Digimon, after 13 years of not keeping up with the franchise, i cant remember much that hasnt already been posted here.
And because i like to take topics and break them over my knee and talk about whatever i want to...

Anyway I'll always prefer digimon over pokemon (pokemon seemed too mainstream). The only Digimon I remember is that angel one and those red lizard ones...... ohh and that wolf (Havent seen any digimon since i was like 7).

My favourite Digimon is a little harder to pinpoint, especially since so many of them are just giant, "badass" animals with ridiculous amounts of guns, blades, and missiles strapped to them, or boring humanoids in over-designed World of Warcraft armor. So, after a little research to jog my memory, I've settled on Keramon and its training form, Tsumemon:
That's just in terms of design, as they're both cool and interesting without being generic or over-designed. As a character, though, Impmon is easily one of the most interesting Digimon in the entire tv series because he has character flaws and substantial personal growth. After all, how many other children's cartoon characters have you seen forced to deal with the guilt of having murdered someone?:

Favorite Pokemon is a toss-up between Cyndaquil and Bulbasaur. Only two Pokemon that I've used to beat the entire game with using just them, and really awesome to watch them destroy the rival's fully evolved starter of the superior type.
Digimon there are way to many to name, but I'd have to go with either Patamon, Guilmon, or Gaomon. All three digivolve into awesome stuff, and all were great in the show as well.

My favorite Pokémon is easily the Deino>Zweilous>Hydreigon evolutionary line.
As for my favorite Digimon... honestly, I love them all. I'm not the biggest fan of how Xros Wars invented a ridiculously convoluted digivolution type, but the designs are still pretty sweet.
Terriermon is fracking adorable, though.

I am rather found of Arcanine though. I never got into Digimon as when I was a kid I bought into the schoolyard flamewar of what was better and hated it by default.
