Favourite racing game?

Need for Speed: Most Wanted, I still don't think NFS have topped this game! Though i loved Hot Pursuit (PS3) and i will get NFS: The Run when it comes out. I tend to skip the track focused ones.

F1 2010 for track racing and best F1 game so far

F-Zero X for best sci-fi racer and best soundtrack

and PGR4 for the most fun for mucking about with

Currently Dirt3 on PC, on consoles probably Forza 3. Unfortunately the latest incantation of Gran Turismo is starting a downward trend.

I am TERRIBLE at racing games... so I generally dislike them. But I have to say, I really enjoyed Jack X and Star Wars Episode 1: Racer.

Excite Truck! This game is one of my favorites ever, and it's different from most racing games in the sense that you don't necessarily have to come in first to win, it's mostly about master techniques to get skill points

Mario Kart: Double Dash. There is something undeniably enjoyable about being able to punch Baby Mario in the face.

That awkward moment when you're waiting for the last person to finish on Mario Kart..

That much more awkward moment when the game disqualifies them for taking too long..

The bitter sweet feeling of landing a star just before you are blown up in disqualification

I do some Need for Speed: Most Wanted anytime. Have you ever tried to have a helicopter nearly clip you while circling around the Country Club golf course? That was fortunate... until the cop ramming me hit it.
