Nothing beats a footlong Meatball Marinara from Subway at 3am when the clubs kick out...

Subway's open 'til 3am where you are? Curse my sleepy backwards town and its eleven-toed inhabitants...

It's a heart attack on a lightly toasted bun! Delicious!

You know when I worked at Subway I use to have people order all of that on one footlong....plus all the other veggies that they then covered in a mountain of LITE mayo

I'm not surprised, because who really likes all of that healthy crap?

EDIT: I think I should specify that was sarcasm.

A good bit of thick blue sirloin steak, with onions in a buttered, soft baguette cut in half.

Either that, or a monstrosity creation which I don't think abides by the laws of physics, or the laws of Peru, which I have had once before...
A BIG bit of soft brownie, with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce, sandwiched between two giant chocolate chip cookies. (I dont think this counts as a sandwich, but it is delicious)

I don't actually live in Peru or have ever been there, It was just for comedic effect

EDIT: everything here can be improved with bacon, including Wadders' idea

A Chicken Bacon Dijon Panini from Panera.

That stuff is the perfect blend of sweet and savory, downright mind-blowing, that is.

Tomate Ave Palta - tomatoes, chicken, and avocado. Though I'll add mayo (and sometimes lettuce) to it when I make it at home.

I actually like to keep things simple. A good sandwich for me is a toasted turkey sandwich with American cheese, lettuce, mayo, and onions.

While there are many sandwiches that I enjoy more, I find that pimento cheese/roast beef/spinich is not only delicious, it's also one of the quickest meals one can assemble.

I'm also a sucker for a club sadnwich, but I rarely actually want to expend the effort to fry bacon, and if I'm at a resturant chances are I'll go for something a bit more daring.
