Pretty sure SMB3 was an NES game.airEx said:Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past.
Super Mario Bros 3
These games still hold a special place in my gamer heart.
mario 3 was an nes game but was re-released in a package called super mario allstars for the snesjoystickjunki3 said:Pretty sure SMB3 was an NES game.airEx said:Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past.

Mine's Super Metroid I think. Maybe R-Type III or Super Mario World.
I'm a bit confused then. If it wasn't a re-envisioning of SMB3 and just a remake (only the graphics have been updated in this case) that you're referring to, which it was 'cuz I have that cartridge, then should it really count as an SNES game?soulasylum85 said:mario 3 was an nes game but was re-released in a package called super mario allstars for the snesjoystickjunki3 said:Pretty sure SMB3 was an NES game.airEx said:Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past.

i completely agree that it is a NES game but the person that posted it as a SNES game may not be old enough to remember the glorious days of NES. SMB3 did come out 20 years ago. god i feel old nowjoystickjunki3 said:I'm a bit confused then. By my definition, it wouldn't. Now the Bangai-O versions for the N64 and Dreamcast differ in gameplay despite being the same conceptual story and identical titles. The Dreamcast game is specifically a DC game while the N64 game is specifically an N64 game.
EDIT: I suppose I understand why you might feel otherwise.
Mario allstars was for the snes, it had the first second and third mario...02cfranklin said:Was the SNES backwards compatible then? because the SNES was the first console I ever played and it was definitely 2 =/Insallah said:btw, mario 2 was a nes game.
