I'm partial to "Bitches ain't shit."

Actually, I'm gonna go with the first part of "Is It Luck?" by Primus:

My socks and shoes always match
Is It Luck?
There's a foot at the end of each of my legs
Is It Luck?
I can play my bass for you
Is It Luck?
Some girls like to kiss my face
Is It Luck? Is It Luck?

There's food inside your mouth today
Is It Luck?
The barber cuts your hair just so
Is It Luck?
When the taste of sex is on your lips
Is It Luck? Is It Luck?

These songs always sound so fast
Is It Luck?
Polyester makes you sweat
Is It Luck?
If a graham cracker gets you off
Is It Luck?

Love, love,
Is It Luck?

My favorite lyrics are the ones from Stephen Lynch's Song "Craig"

My favorite lyrics from it are. . . :

"Jesus was our mothers fave,
All her love to him she gave,
But theres no sibling rivalry,
When he's nailed to that treeeeee. . . YEEEAAAH"

thats it. . .

Cradle of Filth's, "An Enemy Led the Tempest": With a voice like three insanities.
Cradle DO have some rad lyrics

"Drink the pouring of my fury
Those darkened waters spur
The brink of war as my judge and jury
And rapist executioner
Our time is short, the horsemen ride
A foul-breathed chora howls, besides
Damnation and a day has passed
This divine right to genocide"

and

"I knew not Her name
Though her kiss was the same
Without a whisper of shame
As either Virtue or Sin?s
And pressed to Her Curve
I felt my destiny swerve
From damnation reserved
To a permanent grin..."<----- I'M A PATHETIC PERVY LOSER!!!
Since you're talking about mister Daniel Filth, I have to say almost all of his lyrics are stunning, but some of my favourites (With the song titles and albums, for people who might be interested and don't already know) are....

Tortured Soul Asylum (Midian)

"Exhuming the moon through the bars in my room
The sooner the bitter pills swallowed are through
But no genotypes, aphrodites, daemon archetypes
No cenobites rise to claim me from you
No! No! No no no! Don't leave me here in this storm weathered cell!
No! No! No oh oh! With prophets and losses and deadmen from crosses my fate is a preview of derelict hell"

Babalon A.D. (Damnation And A Day)
"And as I broke hope, I choked
Another pope with manna peel
Dictating to DeSade
In the dark entrails of the Bastille"

Death Magick For Adepts (Midian)
"Interdependent as worms to the grave
Allah's true name is nought;
Christ cannot save
Locked in a waltz of evermore frantic steps
Spells of regret, Death Magick For Adepts"

And many, many more. Far too many to mention. The vastness of this mans lingual ability is near infinite. *Idolizes*

Queen - "Hammer To Fall"

Those who grew up tall and proud
in the shadow of a mushroom cloud
Still our voices can't be heard
but we wanna scream it louder and louder
what the hell we fighting for
just surrender and it wont hurt at all
just got time to say your prayers
while you wait for the hammer to hammer to fall

this has been done... earlier... by me!!
but... what the hell...

song:via lactea
band:zoe

Conjuro tu nombre inmortal

I'm pretty sure he says "climbing" not "buying"

Though there's already an abundance of Floyd on here, this one's essential.

Did you exchange,
a walk on part in the war,
for a lead role in a cage?

Wish You were Here.

im also a huge fan of MSI, here is some of my favourite lyrics.

Mindless Self Indulgence - Backmask

we - suck - we - suck
when i say "we" you say "suck"
we - suck - we - suck - dick

play that record backwards
here's a message yo for the suckas
play that record backwards
and go fuck yourself

play that record backwards
it's a message from aaaaaawwwwww
play that record backwards
and go go gogogogo

kill yourself
muthafucka go kill yourself... muthafucka go kill yourself...
muthafucka go kill... yourself

hate and devour the young
and the weaker ones and don't forget the guns
you're gonna need 'em to go kill yourself
hate all the people you love
in a river of blood
and don't forget the guns
you're gonnna need 'em to destroy
always destroy... always destroy...
always destroy yourself if you don't get what you want now

[Backwards:]
clean your room
do your homework
don't stay out too late
eat your vegetables
put away your toys
don't sit too close to the TV
get dressed for church

kill yourself because you don't get what you want

Mindless Self Indulgence - Issues (Its 3AM)

[CHORUS]
It's 3 a.m. - she won't put out
Lets go make out with her friends
Make out with her friends' friends
It's 3 a.m. - she won't put out
Lets go make out with her friends
MAKE OUT WITH HER FRIENDS

Mindless Self Indulgence - Mark David Chapman

Hey
When the world's overrun
With too many bands
Who is it time for

Mark Chapman

Hey
When they all seem absurd
He will thin out the herd
Ladies and gentleman

Mark Chapman

Now
There is no heart
There is no fear
We all just cry
The same old tear

I can not tell
Is it just me
Or do we all
Look just like

Adolph fucking Hitler
With this swoopy emo-boy dreamy haircut
Dangling in our faces
Making us all indescribably indistinguishable from each other
Or maybe I'm just another megalomaniac...

Reginald, release the hounds

"Tom Waits" "Jockey Full of Bourbon"
I fucking love that Coffee and Cigarettes segment 'Somewhere in California', where Tom Waits and Iggy Pop meet for coffee, and it's like Iggy Pop is trying to get Tom Waits' approval. It's hilarious. And where my avatar is from < -

My favourite lyricist of all time is John K. Samson, of the Weakerthans (my favourite band ever), and formerly bassist of Propagandhi.
I don't want to flood the thread with text, but he is chocca with wit and the drawing of everyday relatable scenarios and filling them with drama and empathy. He makes the most empathetic characters.

Read what ya want of these.

From Aside:
Terrified of telephones
And shopping malls and knives
Drowning in the pools of other lives
Rely a bit too heavily
On alcohol and irony
Get clobbered on by courtesy
In love with love and lousy poetry
And I'm leaning on this broken fence
Between past and present tense

From Plea From a Cat Named Virtute (from the point of view of a depressed person's cat):
So we should open up the house,
invite the Tabby two doors down.
You could ask your sister if,
she doesn't bring her basset hound.

From One Great City:
Late afternoon, another day is nearly done
A darker grey is breaking through a lighter one
A thousand sharpened elbows in the underground
That hollow hurried sound, feet on polished floor
And in the dollar store, the clerk is closing up
And counting loonies trying not to say
I
hate
Winnipeg

From Pamphleteer
The rhetoric and treason of saying that I'll miss you.
Of saying "Hey, well maybe you should stay."
Sing "Oh what force on earth could be weaker than the feeble strength of one"
like me remembering the way it could have been.
Help me with this barricade.
No surrender. No defeat.
A spectre's haunting Albert Street.
I am your pamphleteer.

Aaaargh, sorry for spamming, I get lost in that shit. Anyway, check out the Weakerthans, you dogs. Well, that is if you like your ears (and folky/punk/rock)

Forward he cried
From the rear
As the front rank died
And the General sat
As the lines on the map
Moved from side to side

-Us and Them by Pink Floyd.

Now should you expect to see something that you hadn't seen
In somebody you'd known since you were sixteen;
if love is a bolt from the blue, then what is that bolt but a glorified screw?
and that doesn't hold nothing together
Far from these nonsense bars and their nowhere music it's making me sick
And I know it's making you sick
There's nothing there, it's like eating air
It's like drinking gin with nothing else in
And that doesn't hold me together.

"Look, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming of age!"
Get Fly by Atmosphere.

Another song of theirs has my favourite ending, because after a couple of minutes of talking/singing (Whatever...) about meeting a girl at a pub, getting to know her, going back to her place, the song ends with the line "We hit a pickup truck and we both died". Hair, by Atmosphere, a song that's probably against drink-driving.

-From The Battle of Evermore by Led Zepplin

"I can't stand this indecision
married with a lack of vision
Everybody wants to rule the world"
-From Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears for Fears

I'm sure you've heared it all before, but you never really had a doubt
I don't belive that anybody feels the way I do about you now"
-From Wonderwall by Oasis

"It's the terror of knowing what this world is about
Watching some good friends scream, "LET ME OUT!"
Pray tomorrow gets me higher, higher, higher..."
-From Under Pressure by Queen.

"And the piano sounds like a carnaval,
And the microphone smells like beer
And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar
and say "Man, what are you doin' here?"
-From Pianno Man by Billy Joel

"And some day soon we'll start to ponder
What on earth is this spell we're under?
We make the grade and still we wonder

Lookin' like somethin' that the cat brought in"
-From Invisible Sun by The Police

Get rid of all the pain of bein' a man"
-From Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold

"Hold me now I need to feel complete
Like I matter to the one I need..."
-From The Gift by Seether

Apologies for the butchering of any lyrics.

Born Under A Bad Sign - Albert King

"Born under a bad sign
I been down since I begin to crawl
If it wasn't for bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck at all"

This son was practically written for me, it's so true. o_O
