I'm at the moment pretty obsessed with the music from Morrowind, this one in particular. If only the graphics and the dialogue system were not so damn horrible. I really need to get Morrowind 2011 working.
I actually found the music in Chrono Cross to be somewhat...lacking. Not terrible, but not great. A lot of it (maybe intentionally) sounded like it took melodies straight from chrono trigger, altering them only slightly, but nearly as beautifully composed as Nobuo Oematsu would have done with them (really who can). I also found the music didn't really serve it's purpose for me in terms of setting an emotional mood or backdrop for the game. For example, the battle music I didn't find to have a strong enough tempo and energy to get me pumped for battle.HailtotheKing said:The soundtrack to Chrono Cross is undoubtedly one of the best orchestrated works I've ever listened to. The opening song, called "Time's Scar" is one of the most hauntingly beautiful melodies ever, IMO.

Your not the only one (well my favourite SSF4 theme is either Cammy or Juri theme), my all time favourite game music is Alastor theme- (I always like fast pace type of music]FreelanceButler said:Right now, it's gotta be this. I like a lot of the Street Fighter music, but this takes the current cake.
Capcom sure know what they're doing with their music.
Speaking of which, Viewtiful Joe's music is pretty darn good too.
Abels theme is pretty good, but Viewtiful Joe's.....that's just cool.FreelanceButler said:Right now, it's gotta be this. I like a lot of the Street Fighter music, but this takes the current cake.
