Motorstorm Apocalypse. I was 8th out of 10 online, driving a super mini. Last corner and the person in first crashed and took out a ton of people behind him. I hit the hand brake, Drifted around the wrecks, slammed on the boost and took first place, just as the other people revived. Best moment on that game, got a lot of hate filled messages about cheating and such, but it was all legit. made me feel gooooooooooooood...
A close second on that game was me and my brother playing split screen, finish line in sight, and neck and neck. Then a truck falls from an over pass aiming directly for me and him. (we were driving right beside each other, i was in a super car and he had a rally car, and if you know the tracks, you'll know which one i mean. the one in the sewers/train yard place.) He swerved into me, lost a bit of speed and got hit. I was knocked off course by him, drifted under the truck, he exploded, rolled over me, landed infront of me and i drifted around him on the other side (slalom baby!!!) and reversed over the finish line. He flipped and refused to play again.
But they aren't my best moments in gaming.
They are just 2 highlights.
My best was when I was playing on my brothers xbox (i have a ps3 hence the motorstorm) and it was a match AGAINST his clan. I rarely play Call of Duty black ops, and if i do, its usually the zombies mode. but he told me to try, see how fast I die. so it was me against 6 of his friends, pros who do nothing but play that game, me who maybe plays it once a month when bored. The match was a search and destroy, but we weren't trying to plant the bomb, we were trying to eliminate each other. Got to choose my own class, so i made an AUG with dual mags and RDS, cross bow, and 2 semtex (pro perk was unlocked by my brother). Game started. One of them was walking down the side of the map, clearly trying to flank me, so I took a shot at him and he went down. Bad news was, the other people knew where i was. so i ran and hid in a bush. i was sneaky, and managed to take them all down, second to last one with a crossbow bolt to the head. It was at that point they all started shouting at my brother saying I was the one supposed to be playing. At that point, I was god. I didn't play the rest of the game, I'd proven what i wanted to. And that was, experience counts for shit when playing against a guy on the luckiest day of his life ever.
PS: i have had more times like this, but these are the most recent, which is why they are fresh in my mind.
