Fear of water in games

This has probably been mentioned, but Altair from the first Assassin's Creed shares your views.
Also in MHTri, I always kept out of the water on that, but that was probably because the controls were so bad it was hard to move in the right direction

Since I'm older now though, I'm pretty good about hopping in the water in games now.

Stereotypical sharks like that scared me about REAL water as a kid. >_>

Video game water I didn't ever mind. Mario 64's calming soothing water music, and DK country's calming music had something to do with that. XD

for me its because ive played too much halo where the genetic mutations the make spartans great also make them water soluble. well thats the only reason i can think for being able to survive several orbital drops but dying in a like very very quickly
