Ok, need to keep going on my anime high.

I suggest Code Geass, it has 2 seasons and it is one of my favorite animes, and the ending is superb.

Also, Eureka 7 and Code Geass are good anime.

That's just a lovely mix of animes, from slice-of-life, comedy to beat-em up DBZstyle(Kinda) animes. I loved all of 'em.

I put a '*' next to the animes I'd think you'd like based only off of the animes you listed. All the animes listed have ended by now.

Also, I'm going to go ahead and list some movies for you.

Perfect Blue
Tokyo Godfathers
Blood: The Last Vampire
Akira
Paprika

All of those are terrific anime movies though Perfect Blue is a perfect mindfuck, so prepare yourself for that.

Also, if you haven't already you absolutely must watch 'End of Evangelion'. If you have watched that, I highly recommend you watch the Rebuild of Evangelion movies if you haven't already.

Bleach! it's awesome. once you get past the first 20 episodes about schoollife.
they really don't return to that. (well they do, but only in the fillers)

otherwise awesome sword fights and characters to love all around.

I suggest Code Geass, it has 2 seasons and it is one of my favorite animes, and the ending is superb.

Is code geass more than an incredibly skinny guy in a funny suit? I was thinking about watching it but the way the characters look made me think about it.

I am not a huge fan of anime but I enjoyed Gundam (any of them you cant go wrong really =/) and Soul Eater.

Bleach, soul eater, trigun, and gantz are ones I'll recommend
FYI, Gantz is very violent has has tons of nudity so just a warning.

Unfortunately I either hate or am indifferent to most of those titles, so we have very different tastes.

So I will recommend other animes I hate, because someone has to like them.

No anime adaption of this, but may I suggest an excellent Manga?

Parasyte is a manga about a kid who gets what basically amounts to a body snatcher living in his arm. It's EXCELLENT, and makes you question how much difference there is between a human and a monster. The ending made me cry...

Like I said, no anime adaption of it, but it's still damned good.

That would be like me playing ET on the Atari 2600 just because it's a game or watching Battlefield Earth because it's a film.

Anime generally has ALOT better storylines than most TV shows, so thats why I watch it.

Based on that list, try Baccano, Paranoia Agent and Samurai Champloo. If you find that you like Baccano, then watch Durarara, which is just about to finish airing.

Also, take any copies of Elfen Lied you can find and hurl them into the sun. Actually, if you can manage it you should probably throw them into a different sun just to be safe.

The basic story of it is about Lelouch, a former Prince of the Country of Britannia, who starts a rebellion against the Britannian Emperor. The catch is he acquires a power called Geass that allows him to compel anyone to do what he wants if he gets eye contact with him.

That is a rough idea of the main story, but there are other smaller plots going on, but I found all of the characters really good except Mina...

I hated Mina as a character.
