Carnivores and herbivores both have specialized digestive systems that we lack.

The younger you are, the more you need fats, iron, and protein.
Meat is one of the best source of all of them.

The science backs this statement up so completely that PETA and every other organization that believes "BLARGH, meat is bad!!" should be forced to comply with the established biological facts. I'm all for freedom of speech, and believe PETA has the right to say what they will, but when an outright lie is being propogated, some entity, person or group NEEDS to step in and stop the shenanigans.
