Yeah, let's respond to this controversial claim with hate and generalisation to these vegetarians. There's no compromiss like: "Tell your kids, where meat comes from and it's an ethical decision of whether to eat it or not and eat delibaretly in your life."

No, because eating meat is like war, it happens all the time and is therefore a natural and desirable state. Let's don't stop to think a little step further about our own arguments, because we are right and they are completely wrong, and if some of them use questionable measures, this of course makes the whole concept of vegetarism and respect for nature obsolete.

This guy has a point. If we don't eat meat then we will kill more plants! Eat meat to save the plants!

The younger you are, the more you need fats, iron, and protein.
Meat is one of the best source of all of them.
Not letting children have meat is abuse.
Edit: I suppose you could work around it with eggs, dairy products, and the like, but it wouldn't be as good, and I don't think PETA approves of those either.
What does PETA approve of, to be honest?

And this guys correct. I'd rather have my kid overweight and well-nourished than underweight and undernourished.
...Firebombing research labs.
And I'm always correct.

PETA is lame.
Gluttony is lame.
Factory Farming is lame.
Bacon is awesome.
Kale fried with butter and garlic is pretty good too.

Eating meat isn't morally anything.

Some farming practices may be abhorrent to you and that is fair enough, but the actual act of eating meat is no better or worse than eating anything else.

except maybe if it is human flesh.

ot, peta are tards. meat is delicious, raise your own.
Killing another living creature to eat it for your lunch is morally wrong when you can just as easily eat something else that doesn't involve death or suffering.
What are these miraclous things that you can eat that where never alive?

And please, explain that to a tiger, or a shark, or a house cat...

Oh PETA. You aren't doing rational vegetarians any favors. PETA's sort of like a left-wing Glenn Beck.

I am not particular to PETA but the ignorance that is perpetuated on this forum is outstanding. Whats the saying about glass houses? Do a little research before just spitting out venom on a topic you know little of otherwise you all sound like the antithesis of PETA and just as looney.

And when one says living while meaning sentient, that absoluty proves his point wrong. And pray continue using creatures without the ability to choose as a moral compass. It shows a lot about your attitude towards yourself and other humans.

Phoenix, aren't you eating something that was alive when you eat plants? Where do we draw the line?

I think some child just died a while ago here in Finland because his parents didn't allow him to eat meat. Not saying that being a vegetarian is a bad thing but maybe people should not force little children to be vegetarians. You just have to remember to eat soy, beans or something with protein. Also fat is a necessity for humans. Plus the internet is full of false believes about nutrition(as it is with any other subject too).

Well, I'm a vegetarian [not for animal loving reasons] and can certainly say that I would be significantly healthier if I ate meat.
This makes me really angry because it's simply no true.

*sigh*.

I realize that this is probably a joke comment based on the comical miss-spelling of organism but I feel i'd be remiss not to ask. You do know that you are a living organism too right? Do you not think you have more of a right not to be killed and eaten then a plant does? If you don't know that harvesting a plant and killing an animal aren't the same thing I'd be concerned that you might be a sociopath.

Vegetarianism kills children. How about we promote balanced diet instead ?

No, only that the act of eating can be done with no moral compass then it can't intrinsically be a moral or immoral act, it is simply a biological function that has certain requirements.

How you obtain food is the morality question.
