I have to ask - do you seriously enjoy "Eraserhead" more than every other movie you've ever seen? I'm not denying that Eraserhead is a great film, but your favourite? REALLY? I apologize if this question strikes you as redundant - different strokes for different folks and all that, but every other movie I've seen so far is more or less understandable, whereas Eraserhead...well, that's a film in a league of its own.Dfskelleton said:Movie: Eraserhead
You just answered your own question: because it's in a league of it's own. The reason I love Eraserhead so much is how little sense it makes. I've seen a lot of movies that don't make any sense meaning that they're hard to follow, but Eraserhead truly and honestly makes no sense at all. Every single minute of that movie has been etched into my mind forever. Any movie that can make that type of impact on me deserves my favoritism. I can understand why you would be a bit surprised at my choice, and I'm sure that there are probably better movies out there. But, out of all of the movies I've seen, none have effected me as much as Eraserhead.SonicKoala said:I have to ask - do you seriously enjoy "Eraserhead" more than every other movie you've ever seen? I'm right there with you in terms of Eraserhead's affect; I've only seen the movie twice, but I can safely say that no movie has made me feel more uncomfortable or uneasy than Eraserhead did the first time I watched it - although some would hate the movie for that, I admire the film for being able to have such a pronounced impact on me as a viewer.Dfskelleton said:You just answered your own question: because it's in a league of it's own.
