Ahh man, I'm getting massive flashbacks. I played this years ago, everytime I got to that part I didn't realise you had to dodge the bullet. I was trying to slice the bullet. Needless to say, I died. A lot.

Technical point: he was not shot with a rifle. That was a smoothbore, muzzle-loading firearm. A musket, some would say. My rifles have no such handicaps, they fire rather more powerful, fast moving cartridges, and load new ones automatically (or in some cases, with a cycling bolt-action). One of 'em even holds 30 such cartridges at a time!
...beat that with melee, fighting game characters...



though I must concede my point to the fact that Mitsurugi is male, and therefore more susceptible to injury via firearms. I'm sure Sophitia would've deflected the musket ball with her breasts.
