For Christ sake, The Male Orc dances like MC Hammer. They're pop culture references. These dances should be no different.

Blizzard chooses dances that are very easy to identify. The fact you can tell who the dancer is right off the back is very important.

Just because Lady Gaga is recent, doesn't mean it is somehow bad. I mean, when the macarena was all the rage, do you think the reaction would have been just as acidic if it was added to a game like this? But now, we just see it and laugh because of how silly it is.

The Macerena is quite the infamous dance,I think the Male orc one (MC Hammer) is more recognizable myself, whats the Male worgen dance by the way, if anyone knows?

Its more popular to watch sure, but how many people who can't dance actually do it as a last resort at a party.
And I don't know how up to date it is, but this seems to be the only result you get from Youtube.

ugh, all the dances for the goblins and worgens are LAME!
Male goblin - soulja boy (only tolerable one)
female goblin - single ladies
male wargen - some justin timberlake dance
and now this...

I know they're only stupid dances but this is really kind of a let down and I don't think I'll be coming back to WoW (more reasons than just the dances)

EDIT: all WoW dances are pop culture references but all the others are iconic and the majority of people know them. I knew NONE of these before looking them up and they just don't fit the races at all

You don't have to like Lady Gaga or any other artist the dances are modeled off of to like the dances themselves. Also don't try and say the dances "don't fit" the races, it's not like it's written down in an ancient tree bark scroll of lore that female worgens actually dance like Justin Bieber not Lady Gaga. If you don't like dance you have a few choices;

a) pick a new race
b) don't dance
c) find another hobby because you're taking this one way too seriously
