There is a huge amount of strange and disgusting fetishes, but I think the worse is where you actually have to do self harm or potentially kill other people or yourself. That is beyond FUBAR in my opinion.

I don't think the furry fetish is too hard to justify, but it's not the same for everyone.

Most fetishes stem from a persons childhood. I think a lot furries had some sort of personal dissatisfaction during their childhood and some sort of meaningful connection with animals (pets, cartoon characters etc). And much like some kids might think "I want to be a spy", these kids are thinking "I want to be Starfox/Sonic"

It's kinda complex. Personally I see furries as an idealised version of humans - it's like the best bits of humans and animals combined into one. Back when my self esteem was rock bottom I would have given anything to be like that, but these days I don't take the whole furry thing to such an extreme.

On topic: I'd say Vore is the hardest fetish to understand for me, even people that have that fetish don't seem to understand it.

Alright, now for the pregnancy thing. If I had to guess, it would for the same reason large breasts are attractive, they are helpful for propagating the species. The bellies from pregnancy fetishism are often seen in vore, inflation, stuffing, etc.

Prehaps because I really did have a pregnant belly for 9 months the thought of someone getting turned on by it makes me pretty sick.

Size and shape, really. Sort of adds more curves to someones body, if you will. It's different from person to person though, so I can't speak for everyone. I'm sorry if it creeps you out or anything, I don't mean to gross anyone out.

I'm kind of confused.

By definition; a furry is someone that likes anthropomorphic* animals to some extent. It's not necessarily a sexual attraction, and yes It's a very vague definition.

The furry fetish on the other hand is a sexual attraction to these anthropomorphic animals.

*Incase you don't know, if something is anthropomorphic it means that it has human-like features. For example Sonic walks around on 2 legs and can talk, that means he's anthropomorphic.

That's the thick of it. The thrill of it. It's that extra bit of spice to your dish that intensifies the flavor. It should be done in good humour, if that's what you mean? Like people should be happy and consenting to play. It's not a joke or a pisstake though, especially as someone could get very hurt that way. In that respect, it's definitely not for humour.
