As for Unbirth, I'm not too sure how it works, but to the best of my understanding I'll explain it. The person basically eats someone with their vagina, to start with. This person can be the same size, smaller, larger, etc. Now, the unbirther has a person in their womb. The next part varies from author to author, but I'll explain the basic gist. An umbilical cord attaches itself to the person in the womb, and they are slowly shrunk down into a fetus. From this point, it becomes sort of like a regular pregnancy, although sometimes some more freaky shit goes down.

Ever seen the movie Men in Black 2? In one part, an alien morphs to look like a human when she's attacked by a mugger. She proceeds to eat him and stroke her distended stomach, before wandering off. You can look this up on youtube if you want, it's perfectly safe and if I hadn't just told you you wouldn't think it was sexualized.

Now, there's all different kinds of vore. There's hard or soft, soft being where the prey is swallowed whole, hard being more realistic. There have been a few cases where people took it into the real world. A german dude found someone on line that wanted to be eaten. First they lopped his penis off and ate it, then he killed the other guy and ate bits of him until the police caught on. Not sure what happened after that.
