Years ago, my modem had some connection issues and disconnected me without a reason. Online playing was veeeery enraging, when this happened I usually punched my cupboard.

Oh and a recent event, Monster hunter tri, every time I died because of a cheap attack-combo or got hit by a minion, while trying to recover.. this time the cupboard was safe, I reduce the rage by lifting weights... way better than destroying my furniture/controller.

Call of Duty 4 a day ago. I changed my name to Chung-Hee Kwon just to see how people would react, I join a game and one guy (who is actually an admin over the server) says all these racist things like "Get back to your rice hahah xD" and whenever I got a kill he would say "Hey, look the noob Asian got one." What was really messed up was that I was coming second and he called me a noob and everything. So I finally said "Fuck off you racist, you're so annoying, let me play the game" and he laughed, taunted me some more and kicked me from the server. I rejoined, got a 19 kill streak, he didn't like it, kicked again.

Also just now when playing Amnesia: The Dark Decent. I keep trying to get out of the basement but that annoying humanoid monster thing keeps stalking the corridors.

Spoiler: Cheap, but effective

Get your side set up, and have the rally flag/all your units set at the bridge to defend it. After that is all ready, fly over to her side, and summon the deuce, and make SURE you have heat seekers, or homing missiles, whatever they were called. If you stay in the back right corner, they shouldn't notice you, and then use the homing missiles to take out all her units, grab the fans on her side, then get the rock crusher, take out the towers, and advance.

Bad company 2:

This happened many, many, many, many, many times. Nobody is doing anything, when i'm defending, nobody on the enemy team is coming forward, when I'm attacking, I'm the only one moving forward. Needless to say I've stopped playing it forever.

When I was attacking, I team-killed everyone, (Yes, I just admitted to that). When I was defending I quit the game to find something interesting to do.

As for singleplayer, Metroid: Other M,

I think I only realised how terrible it was after I'd finished it. It had me infuriated for weeks. It was the only thought that occupied my mind. I wanted to break something. Then I joined the escapist and was able to put my thoughts down in a few topics. Well done Escapist Magazine, you may have prevented a mental snap.

Yeah dude, I did it on Veteran and to be honest I thought it was piss easy when compared to COD4!

That level is fine once you just take it slowly and know where the enemies are gonna spawn.

Those fucking mini-games in FF X-2...ok actually just about everything IN FF X-2 made me want to chuck my controller out the window. Well, I was taking care of the scorps with no great difficulty (Hunting Rifle + .308 JSP from Hand Loader perk + Entomologist + Rank 3 Bug Stomper = dead Radscorpions)---when a FUCKING DEATHCLAW emerged out of the Abandoned Shack (?!) and proceeded to ruin my shit faster than you could say "HOLY FUCK A DEATHCLAW".

Dude, that's an AWESOME story, though! Rage-inducing that might be, it's right up there with the flying Deathclaw I encountered in Fallout 3!

OT: As for me, I uhhh...can't really remember my real rage-inducers that I haven't already gotten over with my skills and/or cheating. (It should only count if I still have the problem, I feel.) However, I will say that I am SO GLAD that I have probably as experience and firepower as you did at the time, Sim, but I am really TIRED of the Radscorpions by now. They're EVERYWHERE. I'll get like nine big ones in a row, and then MORE show up! And I'm like "REALLY? Fuck you!!", and that's when the Avenger comes out.

Oh, there are worse fates. How is it when you find a Cazador, seconds later an entire swarm of Cazzies is busy fucking your face off? And the damn things are armored to hell and back, too...

Per The Vault, Cazzies are unarmored (DT=0), so a good SMG and enough ammo are all you need. That said, I hate those fuckers with an all-consuming passion because the fucking screech they make when they attack makes me jump out of my fucking skin and drop large quantities of F-bombs on forums.

Really? The only things I had that worked on them until I got some insane armor and weapons were the grenadegun and the Caravaneer Shotgun preorders I crowbarred into the game.

A Caz has 200 HP (the Young Cazador has 100) and a DT of 0. Therefore, a bit of sustained fire with even something as simple as a 10mm SMG (11 bullets with a Caz, 6 with a Young Caz, achievable in VATS if you've got the stones to let them get close enough, not that you have much of a choice) will kill them. Still, bring Antivenom or Stimpaks (or Desert Salad) to offset the poison effect.

Note also that a Caz does 70 base damage (45 for a Young Caz), so the DT of your own armor matters a LOT.

(now, fighting Deathclaws, on the other hand...my best advice for that is "don't."

In KillZone 2 if there's a lagswitcher you know straight away because suddenly you and your squad mates heads explode and the game doesn't explain how it happened... you know how in MP normally you get pop ups saying "EpicSnipes69 naded ColdStorage in the head with nadey mc shotgun"... you get nothing, just 3 or 4 guys heads exploding at the same time, then you watch some fucker teleporting around the place.
