It got me as well.

Doesn't help that Sean Bean is one of my favourite actors and they keep killing him off.

Oh god when both of those happened, specifically the first... my eyes were just wide open and I went into a state of anger, sadness and confusion. It was just... *wipes tear from eye*

"Tali'Zorah...does this...unit...have..."

That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do/witness in my entire life.

I love Legion.

Game of Thrones spoilers:
Ned Stark. God damn, he was so cool, and the protagonist and everything, he was supposed to live. But no, Joffrey the shit decides to cut his fucking head off.
I wish Sanza pushed that **** off the edge.

A Hermit's Cave
I'm going to show a really strange side when I say:

No prizes for knowing it's Beth. The thing is, she knows she's going to die, comes to terms with it very quickly, and spends quite a while convincing everyone that they'll be OK... but it's still a punch in the gut when she finally dies...

Oh and inb4 a row of Clannad: After Story people with:

Don't know quite what's worse leading into it, but Nagisa & Ushio.

The Lion King
I hadn't seen the film since I was about 8 when it was re-released last year. Went to the cinema all ready for the Mufusa bawlfest until I realised he was Darth Vader, he even says 'my son' a bunch, one big plasma torpedo into the side of UNSC Suspension of Disbelief.
I haven't seen it in a long time myself, I'm worried if I did, it wouldn't live up to my inner child's expectations.

FFVI
Cid's death.
I wasn't so much sad for Cid, but Celes.

Makes me well up everytime I hear that music.

Seriously, the first time I played FFVI I was genuinely shocked at the fight with Kefka and its aftermath.

Truly Squaresoft's greatest masterpiece in my opinion. :')

Mordin Solus's death. That is one of the only times I've teared up seeing a character die. And that was without me actually killing him.

Wolfwood's death. He tries to follow Vash's outlook on life, and gets rewarded with being killed. Freaking sucked.

Mordin. No question.

Buffy had an odd effect on me as well when
Jenny Calendar was killed by Angelus, and a HUGE effect on me when Joyce Summers died. Although Buffy's reaction to the second hit me harder than the death itself.

Yeah when I did that I just had to stop playing the game immediately and couldn't play for an entire day because it hit me so hard. It was a bit weird, I've been saddened by deaths in videogames before but none have stopped me in my tracks and just stunned me for days to come.

Also in the same game when

I didn't even go that far, just watching him sacrifice himself to do what he believed was right was enough to make me start bawling. Especially when he sings to himself.

No one's mentioned Gurren Lagann yet? Disappointing.

Bet you all thought I was going to say Kamina, didn't cha. Well obviously him dying hit me hard, but just mentioning Gurren Lagann was enough to make it obvious. But the things Kittan says and what he does for everyone just stunned me. The deaths of Kittan and the other members of Team Dai-Gurren in the final few episodes upset me almost as much as Kamina's did.

And to a lesser extent, Code Geass R2

I mean, I saw it coming a mile off, but I didn't want it to happen anyway.
