Shit, I was only fourteen but I cried my ass of in FFVII when Aeris died. Also, FFX's ending was pretty tragic, what with Tidus turning out to be more or less a summoned beast and all, and Yuna whistling pointlessly at the end of a dock for him to come swimming back to her, which FFX-2 demonstrates more or less that he never actually did.

As for anime, Cowboy Bebop's ending was fucked up and horrifying. Texnholyze always gets me at the end because it's even MORE fucked up and horrifying. ...Shit, and as for American movies, The Constant Gardener, Gladiator... probably a couple of others. I get emotionally involved in my fiction. Call me a whiny fag-boy or whatever but FUCK you, I FEEL shit!

All the people in Tenpenny tower who I convinced to let the ghouls in...
And were slaughtered for their kindness.
My mourning was done with railway spikes.
I did my mourning with a Laser Rifle.
damn them. I only wanted everyone to be happy!
I even loaded an earlier game, let them move in and immediately killed roy.
And somehow he still killed them from beyond the grave :(
And to rub salt in the wound, killing the ghouls gave me negative karma.
WHY!?

Screw Dubmeldore, I cried when Professor Lupin died in Harry Potter! He was my favourite character. Bollocks on you, Rowling!

Also, in Doctor Who, (the new series) when Rose's dad commits suicide to save the world. What a man!

Sirius Black died in Harry Potter. I was literally in tears and was so angry at JK Rowling. Not one tear fell for Dumbledore though.
Aha! Someone knows what I'm talking about! Sort of.
Oh yes. Lupin was upsetting. And after he found love too.

In my opinion, not enough Harry Potter characters died in the end, i.e. all of them. I got my hopes up when harry pseudo died towards the end, but was let down when he came back. Dobby getting knifed in the chest was a plus, though.

Oh, and sorry to all of those who haven't read the last book, but it's been a couple of years now. You've had plenty of time.

Oh, that annoyed me so much too. Swift justice was delivered to those rotten, deceitful ghouls with the business end of my Deathclaw Gauntlet.

I know he returned as a zombie, but the death of Liu Kang was hard for me to accept. I held my A button for 5 seconds and bicycle kicked my copy of Deadly Alliance into oblivion.

God I was so sad when
Wolfwood
got killed off he was my favorite character. His death was almost as sad as
Spike's
in Cowboy Bebop

Walnut's death in Phantom Brave saddened me quite a bit, because he'd basically spent the entire game getting shat upon by the plot. Then he's killed.
That should really be in a spoiler tag. I didn't even get to that part of the game yet.

Seargent Major Avery Johnson, Damn. The most kick ass character in all of video games. Can take eight clips from the BR but gets zapped buy A F***ING LIGHT BULB! The hell man! They better not do the same thing with Dutch in 'ODST... The new johnson in my opinion.

To be fair, the topic's title says "spoilers". Besides, I figured the game was plenty old enough by now that I could reliably say it without any fear of spoilers.

Jack Carter was a horrible man, but I nearly shed a tear when he was sniped on the beach.

I was also sorry to read of the death of David Hume, Scottish philosopher.

I got physically violent with an arm chair after Light Yagami died. I wanted him to win, he was doing a good thing. Also that whole series was a brilliant idea, and had brilliant characters and twists. AND THEY KILLED MY FAVORITE CHARACTER! Fuckin bullshit.

Ano Maki's death is probably the saddest I've ever seen. Bokurano's an inherently sad story anyway but her part is the turning point of it all and her reason for doing the things that lead to her death are so incredibly, tragically, human.

EDIT: Her last words are beautiful.
