Ok, STILL having issues with tabula rasa, still refusing to give up.
Their tech support has blamed it on my ISP, and my ISP's tech support is a bunch of retards. (linking me to their console support site after literally saying I was having trouble with a COMPUTER game. Grr), but I figure, hell, if they blame my ISP they haven't the foggiest what's up. Now, I think that it might be the issue that my modem needs a firmware upgrade, a specific modem problem would explain why I can't seem to find any other cases of my problem. However, going onto Belkin's site, and finding a firmware upgrade, the whole process seems a bit daunting, with notes like "not fully tested" and "make sure you can reset the firmware" and that by NO means may I be allowed to update wirelessly so must directly attach the modem to the computer.
So, how dangerous is it to keep my damn modem up to date, what specifically IS a firmware upgrade, why do I need to be directly attached to the modem and how can I fix it if it all dies because of this. God I feel like a computing incompetent now...
