First Alchoholic Drink

It was either when I drank my moms peach wine cooler while thinking it was orange juice or when my grandfather let me drink some whiskey. They both happened when I was about 3. Since then I have only ever (barely) drank...4 times. I've been told that I am the kind of person who doesn't like her alcohol to taste like alcohol.

Vodka when i was 10. Not just a glass of vodka with juice, it was a bottle of vodka for three 10year old's.
I was so drunk that i couldn't walk and passed out.
First time is the best time.

except maybe that "wine is good for your heart" thing...

anyways IMO alchohol smells bad and/or "strong" (I can't stand things that have a strong smell, no matter what the smell)

OT: Probably wine when I was about 9 or 10.

I have no idea which was my first. Probably some kind of beer, which I hate.

I've tried beer several times after that, but I don't like it. It's one of the only alcoholic beverages that I, flat-out despise.

My buddy and I in my backyard after our sophmore year of high school drinking straight from a bottle of Banff Vodka while sitting on a stump. We got drunk. That was it.

Second time thouhg, alot of us were at my place drinking Brandy. Well, I had a shit ton to much and was hanging onto the grass to keep from falling off the world. It was bad, The world was spinning and I smoked like 2 packs of cigarettes. It was crazy.

Though, I've been drinking ever since. I used to party alot and do the crazy college stuff but now I've grown out of that and only drink socially now.

I've not gotten more than a taste, and not interested in even that, but I'm pretty sure I was allowed to taste my dad's vodka at the age of 11, or so. Other than that I haven't tried any alcoholic beverage, and I have no idea how the vodka tasted, just remember tasting it.

I tried some of my dad's red wine when I was around 5. I still hate the taste of it. However, whenever my dad order's white wine at a restaurant, I normally steal several sips of it.

Anyway, just had my first drink, and maybe it's the boose, but I just got curious what some of my comrades on the Escapist had for stories about this sort of thing. I'll start off (Well obviously). We've got my aunt and uncle over right now, and everyone over 18 is currently drinking (all four of them). My mom, in an obvious ploy to keep me from ever drinking again, gave me one of those tiny bottles of Captain Morgans. I can still taste it on the back of my teeth after half an hour of Cola, spicy chips, and barbeque sauce. Anyway, a weak start for first thread, but, I have the boose as a fall back exscuse. So, What's your story freinds?

First drink? Beer, an Ale to be precise. I was 11 or 12. First drink I got smashed on? Whiskey. been drinking it since I was about 16. I am 18 now ^.^

Halloween when I was 15 my friends and I thought it would be a good idea to pass around a bottle of Bacardi Superior.

Let's just say it didn't last very long (the drinking, not the drink itself).

Why do I live? Mostly because I enjoy life, and don't need any substance clouding my decisions. I've witnessed many negative effects from alcohol, and have no reason to drink. Also, Alcoholism has a possibility to be passed on, and I wouldn't want my family to be put through what I have been due to the disease.

White wine with my mum. Not very hardcore but It was a nice night. But after many cans I've decided that Guinness Is the best drink around!

I would say something like small amount of champagne when I was like sixish. Or a beer that I stole from the fridge when I was seven and drank because "Mommy and Daddy drinks it so I can have some"
