Never had an alcoholic beverage, never will.
Not even in just a social situation? I like a drink, but I dislike being drunk.

Always drink in moderation kids!

first time i ever had alcohol in my system was probably a beer, when i was between 0 and 2.

but first time i drank multiple bottles willingly and knowing effects of it, was 10 days ago on new years eve where i had a smirnoff ice, and 2 cult shakers.

Im 14 and its okay! :D (cus my parents dont know i had those)

A beer at my grandfather's house, when I was three years old. It was alright, I guess, but I prefer other stuff.

A beer at around 14. Then my parents accused me of being an alcoholic. Because I drank a single beer. With a friend.

That's chemical dependency right there!
I had that same problem. Although I did get tipsy one Christmas when I was 13 or so and they yet me have a fair amount of red wine.

OT, babycham. Nothing really hardcore but I was 10 and it was Christmas.

I drank quite a bit of Absinthe at Christmas and can hardly remember ruining the day.

When I was 2 years old I used to run around the house ass naked and drink my parents beers. They were fine with it.

I miss the good ol days.

First drink was a bit of wine when I was about seven.

Now my drink of choice is WKD Blue. :D

Out of interest, what countries do you 17+ year olds who don't/rarely drink live in? Because I'm only 16 and pretty much everyone drinks over here in the UK.

vodka and coke sort of mixtures when i was 16 for my first experience of being drunk.

I don't see the point so I don't drink...

except maybe that "wine is good for your heart" thing...

anyways IMO alchohol smells bad and/or "strong" (I can't stand things that have a strong smell, no matter what the smell)
In a way i agree with you, while i don't see the point in drinking to get drunk, i can understand having the occasional drink as long as you treat it with respect.

I would love to be able to say you should try a small sensible amount of alcohol (and not anything like vodka) before you rule it out but i wouldn't want you to think i am trying to make you drink. You probably get that all the time anyway

I don't often drink because I dislike the taste, but WKD is just weak enough to mostly ignore if I'm at a friends house. I'd never be caught drinking it in a bar though, that'd be suicide!

I live in Scotland btw, and I cannot tell you how awkward it is to have the "I don't like the taste so I don't drink" conversation with people. They just don't believe me.

Yeah... i have no clear memory of this, but my father gave me half a glass beer when i was little. I was... don't know, 8-9 or so? Of course i didn't like it, but when you get older beer grows on you. (Now to get a cold fresh beer on a hot summer evening is just awesomely refreshing and tasty)

And yes, i am german. BEER GOOD *g*

Apparently as a small child/baby, I would crawl around to find wine glasses and drink from them...
That may explain my love of fine wines.
It would also explain why I hate cigarettes... (apparently I used to find ash-trays and eat cigarette butts when I was a baby >.< )
