Does Commodore 64 count?
Actually, my very first WORKING console was a Commodore 128D with an integrated 5.25" floppy drive. I remembering it using old-school floppys that would fit 500kB of data I think.
I also had the obligational casette drive with lots of games.

EDIT: I also recall having a modem add-on for it. It was old, dusty, as big as an CD-ROm Optical drive nad it had the amazing blazing speed of... 5200 baud

500kb, I'm amazed that games as small as 500kb can be very enjoyable with a lot of replay value, but an awful lot of recent games weighing in at 6gb+ are disappointing clones of other games that cost a lot and have no replay value.

My first system was the NES, followed by the SNES, the N64, The Playstation 2 and now the 360. I also have the Gameboy and the Nintendo DS and all of the systems are in perfect working order :)

A Wii, weirdly enough. I was a heavy PC Gamer as a kid and when I was too poor to update the machine I started using ROMs to learn everything about console games. Good times.

Check out Elite on the spectrum 48k if you think 500kb is tight! A whole universe in 3D.

BTW my first system was the ZX81. Marvel at my 1KB of memory!

I'm so hardcore, I had the Atari 2600 with the original wooden panelling, and its array of ONE button on the controller.

Yup, that's the one we had too, tho my first *truly mine* console was the Gameboy, complete with a Tetris cart and some sort of magnifying lens addon that made it twice as chunky to carry around :p

Just the breezeblock PS, and my first games were Spyro the Dragon and Gran Turismo 2. Now neither of the Memory card ports work properly nor the second controller port. And I can't get any emulators to work. Oh well.

The first non-Pc system we had was a Gameboy colour for my brother, the version with transparent plastic. I got a purple one some time later (could have been months or years, who knows.)

First actual console we had was my brothers Gamecube.

SNES also, followed by gameboys, N64 and gamecube, I had a Nintendo brand childhood, though also a Dreamcast, poor underappreciated thing.
