Tetris. I consider beating level 10 size 6 and seeing the ridiculously huge rocket beating the game.

But if you don't agree with that, then Super Mario World 6 Golden Coins would be my answer (I think).

YES! There is someone else on this planet who has played this game! And I thought *I* was the only one. For a game that was rated the ~50th best game of all time by IGN, this game sure is forgotten.

...f-cking Odd-Eye.
Shining Force 2 rules man, there's quite a few games that have gone over looked on Genesis, try Ranger X, a great game that no one knows about. It's hard to get used to but god damn that game is fun.

people forgot it? It's on the ps3 megacollection!
This is just yet another instance where I have made a fool of myself in these forums because I haven't bought the PS3 yet. Okay... how about it was largely forgotten before it was rediscovered, then. Yeah... that's what I meant to type...

Well this is fantastic news! I haven't seen cute little Kiwi (I always named him Tort) in over a decade now. Just another reason to get off of my butt and pick up a PS3.

EDIT:

Thanks for the recommendation, but it's been almost a decade since I've owned a Genesis and about three years since I last played one period. But if I do trip over the game on a modded system, I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks again.

It was the original Donkey Kong Country, it took me two tries to beat the game, I thought I had won and I was busy dancing around and did not notice that there was round two with K Rool

The earliest game I remeber finishing was the original Prince of Persia. That was before I even had a color screen. Heh, guessing which potions were for healing and which were poisonous was fun back then. I think I was 5 or 6 years old at the time...

It was Either Sonic 2 or Mortal Kombat. Either way I played the crap out of my beloved Sega.

The Lion King on the Megadrive... I had to get my Dad to hep me through most of it (I was 4...)... but it still counts!
The first game I remember completing on my own that made me really proud was FF9. Also If you count being able to keep your farm after the 3 years in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature then that too.
