First Game?

First game I really got into with a "to hell with homework until I can beat this" zeal? Metroid. Perhaps not coincidentally, sixth grade was when my grades went to hell, but I think that was more the drugs than the video games.

FF7 great game though I never finished it despite making several games. I was however hooked on gaming and havent looked back since =D

Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and The Flame ahhh those were the days. That would have been on the IBM Compatible PC of course where it truly belonged.

X-Wing on the PC. I had played Prince of Persia before, but being five years old at that time, I didn't really play it - I merely admired how I steered my prince into death traps.
I sucked at X-Wing, too, but it had nice cheat codes and I was a real sucker for Sci-Fi games back then.

I really got into this DOS game that me and my dad would play; it involved playing as two giant apes on top of skyscrapers throwing explosive bananas at each other.

After that it was probably Donkey Country which I got bundled with my SNES

I used to play that game! It was called 'Gorrillaz' or something like that but I used to play the Q Basic version on an old balck and white laptop with a 286 processor.

Anyway, the first game that I really loved would probably be Commander Keen 4 and after that the mighty Wing Commander 2.

Those were indeed the days...

the first game i ever played was probably pokemon blue (or mayb yellow) and the first console game i played was the incredible hulk =D
