Done Before but meh, Duke Nukem 3D, man what an epic game to start your gaming life with. Quite proud of that fact.

Super Mario World. I used to be scared of the Koopa Kid. Those were the days.

Probably Combat for the Atari 2600. I probably played full size Arcade games before we had one of those but I don't remember them. Even at 34 (now) I was extremely young when the 2600 was in it's heyday.

As far as how the experience itself was, well I'm still a gamer today.

Honestly though I only became a "serious" gamer with the Commodore 64. Ultima, Might and Magic, Bard's Tale, Wasteland. Then we got like a Tandy 1000ex and there were things like King's Quest, Wizardry, and others.

The earliest memory i have of playing a game is on Sonic the Hedgehog, back when i was 3 or 4 years old. T'was epic...

I believe the first one I ever played was Duck Hunt/Super Mario Bros. I was only 5 when we got an NES and those were the first games we had. My first clear gaming memory was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the NES.

It was the bomb back then.. Also i can remember a Ghostbuster game for the Atari console, which was really cool..

Oh god that stupid game has defeated me so many times. I was never able to finish the level where you drive the van around.

My first game I cannot remember, but I can peg it down to a couple. We owned a NES when I was but a wee lad, so sometime in the late 80's I would have been playing it. I had super mario bros/duckhunt, RC ProAM, and 1942. So it was one of those that would have been my first gaming experience.
