Just a stupid question: How old were you when you had your first girlfriend/boyfriend and how did you meet?

We were both part of a commune and lived in the same squatted building, we quickly bonded.
She ended up going to the States, and we had a break-up that, while far from simple, worked out fairly well.
We still occasionally meet, and enjoy one another's company, but our romantic days are over.

I didn't date in high school. I was kind of depressed and emo-ish. Not in the cry for attention sort of way, but just that I kept to myself mostly and wasn't particularly happy. Either way, girls in high school don't exactly tend to go dreamy-eyed over a guy like that.
So a bit of a later start than most, I'd say, but I was 18 before I started getting into the dating thing, and 20 before my first REAL relationship (lasted over 3 years, we lived together for a while, etc.)

First? Um i was in kindergarten, she was in first grade. Oh yes im still player like that. First real one, 6th or 7th grade...i think.

Oh she was pretty and sort of fun to hang out with, but she was so completely ego-centric that it became clear that she would always care about things in her life more than mine. Including me personally.
Still I was an idiot and ended up hanging on for a year and a half until she dumped me, which was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. Six months later I started dating the girl I ended up marrying.
