God damnit. >_> SELF CONFIDENCE PLZ.
Here's some self confidence for you.

I did that once. It worked.
True story.
18 and still yet to have a girlfriend (although I did almost have one at 15), although I've got a good feeling about the future.

14, lasted a month, not a good relationship in the least. Romantically barred (even from kissing). She was kind of a total *****. I had enough and engaged the smack-down on her. Two weeks later I had another...

13. Same circle of schoolfriends. I did have a 'girlfriend' much younger in infant school, but I don't think that really counts.

16 and she just started flirting with me randomly one day, so I started flirting back and it eventually led to us going out. Didn't last long though, only about a month.

I had my first Girlfriend at 14, though we first met when we were 8. We were both in the same 2nd grade class and the class was getting stickers for... something, I can't remember what. Anyway, there were a couple of sheets of Looney Tunes stickers and by the time I got up there they were out of Bugs Bunny ones. I asked who got the last Bugs Bunny sticker and someone pointed to a girl I'd never talked to before. Reluctantly, I took a Daffy Duck sticker. I walked up to her and tried to convince her that I should get have the Bugs Bunny sticker. I even offered to trade her the Daffy Duck sticker. She kept refusing until the teacher made the whole class be quiet.

Later we were lining up for either Lunch or Recess in the order we'd been sitting in. I'd just happened to sit next to her while I was trying to convince her to trade stickers so we were right next to each other in line. We struck up a conversation and quickly realized that we had a lot of common interests. We were best friends by the end of the day.

Unfortunately after 3rd Grade my Mother remarried, which meant we were moving. I didn't leave town, but I went to another school district. We kept in contact and I honestly don't think I'd have made it through 4th grade without her friendship. My Mother got divorced the following summer and I started going to a new, better school were the people didn't hate me for being smart/creative/non-athletic. We saw less and less of each other those two years.

Finishing 6th grade meant going to middle school, which also meant students from multiple school districts combining into one school (there were two middle schools and somewhere around 14 elementary schools). She and I were going to go to the same school again. Because of this, her mother and my step-mother arranged for the two of us to go to the local Fun Frolic together. I saw her for the first time in some time and I suddenly realized that she was a girl. We spent the day together and had a lot of fun, even though I'd been dealing with the second worst sunburn of my life. Before the day was over, I'd fallen in love with her.

Later that school year, we started going out. Her friends set us up because apparently she wouldn't stop talking about me but was too afraid of what I would say to ask me out (as was I). We had our first kiss on the last day of 7th grade.

We had two break-ups in High School, both times she left me for someone else, but after the second one she realized that she was as in love with me as I was in love with her. At senior prom I asked her to marry me. I didn't have a ring but she didn't care. We started living together at 19 and we were married at 23. I have never dated another woman and I've never regretted it.
